(no subject)

My little cockerel is almost definitely gone for good. I'm bummed about it, but not much I can do other than mourning him and moving on. He was the chicken on my head in my Facebook profile picture. The other night, while I was watching movies, he slept on my shoulder and under my chin and made cute noises. He had the funniest squeaky crow, but he was gradually getting better at it. He thought he was so macho even though he was tiny. I really miss him already. He was going to be a beautiful rooster. I'm upset about the Icelandics, too. They were such beautiful little babies, and it was adorable how their crests would go up when they were startled. What a tragedy. I hate these sorts of things. I'll get over it, I'm not as gloomy as I was yesterday, but it's just...really sad. I'm blaming myself less, at least. Of course I meant no harm, thought all of the babies were safe, and I had no idea how things would turn out. Everyone who raises poultry has their tragedies like this, no matter how good you are with your birds. Things just happen sometimes. Thank you to those who offered sympathy or nice thoughts--it means a lot and helped me feel better. ♥

Other than that, things are going pretty well in life. I really can't figure out what to blog about lately, I'm not sure why! I normally have no trouble going on and on about nothing, haha.

Basically: Fundamentalist Christians review movies and proceed to outline every single thing they find morally questionable in said movies. Including things that require a very large stretch of the imagination to be considered morally questionable. They also want you to donate money to their "charitable" work.
