I had a dream this morning about being on a large ship and going somewhere where there were many whales. There was a truly massive blue whale, a few humpback whales, minke whales, and a dall's porpoise, among others. The whales were so close you could touch them and sometimes I was not on a boat observing them, but in the water with them. It was as if, visually I could understand how huge they were, but unlike in some other whale dreams I've had I could not seem to feel how powerful an animal they are, so it was not scary or intimidating being close to them. At one point I got scared because I saw the black and white creature coming toward me and thought it was an orca (and someone yelled that it was), but I soon realized it was a dall's porpoise and was no longer afraid. There was something with a sea lion as well, and I kept trying to find my camera to take pictures of these incredible sights.

I wish it had been real! Not that it was realistic, but I've only had one halfway decent spotting of a wild whale (I have seen many wild dolphins, though) and I want to see wild whales up close someday, and orcas. I find whales absolutely incredible animals.

Had a dream that I was at Anime Expo and I heard that there would be something going on at this elementary school in the neighborhood. Except it was clearly a Japanese school, in Japan, despite being just a few blocks away, so...uh. Anyway, I went there and discovered that Yoko Kanno was there and naturally freaked out. (Note: I frequently have dreams about meeting Yoko Kanno. Like, a ridiculous amount.)

She was talking to the kids about I don't know what, but I asked the teacher if I could get an autograph and meet her and explained in bad Japanese that it's really a dream of mine. She arranged this, so I got to meet Yoko Kanno and get her autograph and talk to her a little. I also asked if I could get Maaya Sakamoto's autograph (she had been in the room earlier) but she said she was "in the back" whatever that means. XD

The kids were playing this game outside where groups would stand on two sides of a square of area and then run across the square without bumping into each other. I thought this was a pretty cool game though now that I'm awake I don't get it. Yoko Kanno was watching and occasionally running along and I was hanging around near her and following her. She started singing a song, but I didn't know it and concluded she just thought of it. It was a pretty, simple song.

At some point in the dream, I went into this dark building and saw the goddess elf lady or whatever from the Escaflowne movie. Except then Yoko Kanno like...came out of her, like she had been possessing her. Then the goddess turned into a schoolgirl who seemed very flat and ordinary and small. The girl left behind blew away in the wind, flat like paper, up toward the blue sky. I said "Like a butterfly," referring to how she fluttered in the wind, and then, as if on cue, she turned into a butterfly and flew away. I felt a sense of awe.

After the game ended and Yoko Kanno went off somewhere (left), scorpio_alice showed up and said we had to get in line for AMVs. They had moved AMVs to some weird place a few blocks from the convention so we went to try and line up.

I think that's all.

I had forgotten until I was in chat last night, but I had another dream yesterday night that was really...odd.

( Not that terribly long, just kind of hilariously weird. )

And all of the sudden, collecting is going very well! I finally got myself an Absol Pokédoll (in a lot on Ebay), I won a chupa-chups Umbreon cheaper than the one I was bidding on thanks to the help of lineaalba (THANK YOU SO MUCH! \o/), purchased that 1/1 Eevee, got a TOMY Chikorita plush finally for very cheap, and so on. And the best thing is, almost all of it was paid for with my sales post and just a little of my petsitting money. :) Yay! Also, have so many fun and awesome things on the way already.

I did miss out on a rare Mew plush I've been wanting for quite a while, but...oh well! It went higher than I wanted to pay for it, and I'm sure another will come along eventually if I'm patient.

Er, honestly, collecting and hanging out in pkmncollectors chat and dealing with my sales post is about all that's going on, other than that the fact that it's pouring down rain. I should take a break from the computer and go over to dad's and do something else today~ I want to have an enjoyable and productive weekend, both with getting sales things done and doing non-computer activities.

Bought a 1/1 Eevee last night on Ebay, out of fear that they'll be too hard to find if I keep waiting. They're going for a pretty penny on Yahoo!Japan. I paid a bit more than I'd like to, but I wanted to guarantee I'd be able to get one so I can't say I regret it. I look forward to getting it in the mail, and I'll bet it's going to end up being one of my favorite plush ever. :D ♥

I need to do sales today, absolutely, as soon as possible. That's my number one priority aside from caring for the animals. My goal is to ship out everything Monday, including the few packages I haven't managed to finish packaging.

I'm so sleepy still because I woke up while that dream was still going on. I end up incredibly groggy if I wake up during a dream. Maybe going out and caring for the chickens in the rain will help me wake up.

I can't believe it's only two weeks until Christmas! And only one more week of school left. I really want to put up the Christmas trees soon~ Maybe tonight at mom's and Saturday or Sunday at dad's.

Okay, people, I'm going to be up in Tahoe until Sunday night. However, this doesn't necessarily mean hiatus, as I'm bringing Tabi-kun (my laptop) along and there's wireless up there. It's more a matter of whether I'll have time to be doing internet stuff or not. I'll probably have some time because my cousins go to bed fairly early, and I don't. I like spending time with them when I can, though.

( Weird dream. Most people don't care about other peoples' dreams, so I'll cut it. )

I had a dream last night that I flew out to Ohio to go to hitchi's birthday party. I don't remember much other than the scene of me being in a car with presents in a parking lot at the airport.

Indeed, the crow did die last night. I expected so much, so it's not really a big deal. I almost had the health department come out and take the body so they could test him for West Nile (which I'm 99.9% sure he didn't have--but maybe they would tell me what he did have), but they wouldn't be able to pick him up until Wednesday and, despite the fact that I'm not squeamish, keeping a dead, diseased bird in my fridge is not exactly an appealing idea. Non-diseased dead birds are one thing, but when you put disease into the equation, it seems rather unpleasant.

Then I got another crow in. This one is a fledgling, and it's...behaving a bit strangely, which makes me wonder if perhaps it's diseased, too. It seems rather off-balance, snappy, and it's very very thin, but it won't eat. I keep sticking kibble in its mouth, and it keeps spitting it up, no matter how far back in its throat I put the kibble. Maybe it'll get hungrier tonight and be easier to feed in the morning. Otherwise I have no idea how I'll get food down this thing. It's quarantined from everything else right now in case it is diseased, so we'll see how it does. I hope it does all right! I've had so much disease in the last few months, I'm getting really sick of it. :/

I also got another baby quail! :D I've been hoping for one for a while. It's younger than the one I have, but considering the fact that this little guy fell in a pool, he's doing pretty well. Seriously, I think baby quail are pretty much the cutest things ever. And it's especially cute to have two little quail with big, friendly chick. XD ZOMG so cuuuute.

We're trying to arrange picking Zoe up on Sunday currently.

Maybe I'll go watch a little anime now.
