TO-DO, turkey, and Gainax
May. 20th, 2008 08:41 pmMADE NO PROGRESS ON BOOTA TODAY :( Mom brought me to Fabric Boutique TWO HOURS later than she said she would, and then Gaylene was working on wedding stuff and couldn't help me out.
Boota will be finished tomorrow, though. It WILL. And if not tomorrow, Thursday without a doubt. This costume is going to have to be freaking amazing because I'll be showing it off to Gainax themselves. S-so excited. *A* I hope they're impressed and charmed by it, hahaha.
I GOT ANOTHER WILD TURKEY
Someone called the raptor center claiming it was a turkey vulture, so...half-right, hahaha! Anyway, some of the raptor center volunteers brought it over, and it promptly escaped the box and went straight under their car. After about fifteen minutes of trying to get it out from under the car, chasing it under another car, and frantically preventing it from going into the bushes, we managed to snare it with a net just before it got into the street. Hahaha. Interesting end to the day. >__>
It's about twice the size of my current turkeys and was a bit panicked, but now that it's in with the other three turkeys, it's really happy and eating and drinking and having a grand time. It does mean I need a bigger cage for the little guys, though--I'll have to go pick up my gamebird cage from Janey tomorrow.
( YES, ONE OF THOSE HUGE FANIME LISTS THAT'S GOING AROUND )
*PHEW* So much to do.
