May. 22nd, 2008 12:42 amSo, it's 12:42 AM right now, and I've been up since 6 AM mostly working on cosplay. Thankfully, it was VERY productive cosplay day, but it was also quite stressful and insane. Seriously. There were POLICE involved.
Well, okay, not directly. But while I was working on my costume and Gaylene was working on a wedding dress, these guys from a sign business came and were trying to put up a "Building Available" sign above Fabric Boutique, which makes no sense because their lease hasn't expired and they have no intention of moving out--something they had settled earlier with the owner of the building. Anyway, long story short, the police came and got involved getting the sign people to leave and settle the whole affair, and all this was going on while I was trying my best to finish essential costume bits. That's only a small piece of the chaos that was today, but I'm far too tired to go into any more detail.
Densuke and Boota are both about 80-90% done, which is great. I'm quite pleased with them, too! Densuke's head and paws turned out adorable, and Boota is basically like a five-foot (I have to crouch--I'm 5'6") fluffy plush. I could seriously almost just display it as a plush when not wearing it, except that some of it looks better with a person underneath it due to understuffing. They both need more work tomorrow, but I'm confident it'll work out. I'm so excited to debut them. :D Also--SHOCK AND SURPRISE--I can actually see out of both of them! I mean, no peripheral vision or anything, but at least vision isn't a serious issue this time.
I want to talk so much more about cosplay right now, but I'm soooo exhausted I can hardly type straight at all. .__. Have another list.
( Stupid lists. I'm a list addict. )
I seriously hope mom isn't working tomorrow. D: If so, I don't know how I'm going to complete all these things.
Anyway, gotta go sleep before I type something utterly nonsensical or simply fall asleep on the keyboard. My eyes are literally crossing with exhaustion.
