pacificpikachu: (OMFG HARAKEN)
I had a dream about Sawao last night. :D

I promise this isn't perverse or creepy! Just extremely geeky. )

Today I...um, I started Kaiji! (Be proud of me, [livejournal.com profile] xel_ko, [livejournal.com profile] astrokittie, and [livejournal.com profile] toggy!) Instead of working on cosplay. .__.; I watched the first seven episodes and I'm enjoying it very much. It's so cleverly plotted and well-paced! It took me about a half an episode to get used to the art style, but, surprisingly, that's all it took. Now I'm just enjoying the story. I mean, it's an epic anime ABOUT ROCK PAPER SCISSORS. How could you go wrong? I'm looking forward to seeing more of it, because the first seven episodes have been very enjoyable.

This is also crazy because years ago, Zoe and I used to discuss all the time how we wanted to create an amazing and epic manga about Rock Paper Scissors. WTF, I think the anime industry is spying on us.

And years before that, Nicole and I were discussing (weirdly enough) combinations of different fruits and the word 'fish,' and we came up with "banana fish" as our favorite. It evolved into an in-joke from there. You can imagine how strange I felt when I found out there's a manga called Banana Fish. O_o; I mean, seriously, how much more arbitrary can you get?

So, in summary, I am obviously a brilliantly gifted psychic who can predict anime and manga via in-jokes.

The rest of the day involved little other than caring for my pets, so I guess that's all I have to say. I have so many things I need to do tomorrow--hopefully I'll actually accomplish something for once!
