I feel so guilty for not writing over the last few days. :P I'm not going to write a long entry, just a short summary of the weekend as I remember it.

Well, I was going to wangst and be in pain on Friday, but my plans didn't work out because KK came over and we had fun sitting around the house doing weird things--like watching Paranoia Agent, making french fries, and reading CAP Alerts. XD I also discovered that the weird back exercises Dad used to do when I was little really work for relieving back pain--so I was pretty much better by the next day. Anyway, she was hanging out with me until the evening, when she was picked up.

Yesterday I went totally wacko during the earlier part of the day and basically completely packed my room at Mom's. :O I was rather proud of myself for this--the only things that aren't packed at this point are the furniture and the computer. Unfortunately, I can't say so much for the rest of the house (it's barely packed at all, and we could start moving as soon as Tuesday, though more realistically over the weekend). My walls at Mom's--which were totally covered in Pokémon posters--are now naked and look so white and weird. It's strange--those posters have been up for so long that when my lights are off and I'm trying to go to bed, I swear I can still see the outlines of the posters on the walls.

Zoe came over at about 4 PM-ish, after my cleaning spree had been taken down a notch. For the hours after that, we messed around with some video editing programs briefly (for example, putting an episode of Ohayo! Loveless-kun to Spicy Marmalade from Gravitation...yes, we're easily amused), watched some Jigoku Shoujo, and then Ari and KK showed up to pick us up for Anime 101 at Ari's house.

We ran by Dad's house for a little while to get some anime to initiate Ari to the genre. She definitely seemed to like what she saw, although she was feeling a little sleepy and sick for part of it. Her house is so cool. She has an indoor aviary (with finches and doves in it) and greenhouse area and...it's just a way-cool house. Lots of good food, too. Anyway, it was fun. I like her "walking dustmop" dog. XD; We kept arguing over what to show her, though. XD We ended up showing the first two episodes of Wolf's Rain, and one episode each of Escaflowne, Paranoia Agent, FLCL, and Gravitation. We forgot Cowboy Bebop, and unfortunately the Rurouni Kenshin OAVs weren't working in her DVD player. ^^; Mostly went very well, though. Mom picked Zoe and I up at midnight because she was afraid I wouldn't get enough sleep if I spent the night.

Zoe and I went to sleep after finishing the episode of Jigoku Shoujo we had left off on before we left for Ari's. It was about 1 AM at that point. We slept in 'til around 10 PM, and watched Monk episodes and ate almost the whole rest of the day. Well, until we saw Brokeback Mountain again at 3:30 PM, that is.

I don't think I need to get into how good it was again--you already know. XD Zoe did like it, though, even if she didn't exactly think it lived up to the hype we gave it. Speaking of Brokeback Mountain, Mom concluded that other day that I'm "obsessed" with it. Simply because I was talking about it for fifteen minutes in the car. Oookay, Mom. O_o;

Dad gave Zoe a ride to her brother's house on the way home. At home, Cody came over and we were drawing and hanging out for a few hours. ^_^ Turns out he was deferred to regular decision, too--which is a relief. He also seemed to agree when I said I basically was going to stick with him no matter what, so that was a relief, too. Um...yeah. I couldn't get my wolf I was working on to look right anatomically, though. -_-; I'm going to have to work on it.

Random bits of information: Poor Lily! She's seen us packing, and in her mind packing = vacations in which we leave her at home, so she's so freaked out. The poor dog--she was shaking like crazy today when Zoe and I (both with lots of stuff) were standing out and waiting for Mom to bring us to Brokeback Mountain. It took a bunch of "You get to go, Lily!" and "You can come in the car!" before she stopped shaking.

I won this random Japanese cat statue off of CDJapan (though they still haven't shipped my CDs...). XD;; It's kinda cool--they paid for shipping and all, and I have it sitting next to my Ed plushie right next to a pile of manga. I thought it was funny I won it, though.

So, that was my last few days.

Oh--Hitchi! I've been meaning to call you AND send your package, but it's been really crazy lately, with the house purchase and packing and friends and college stuff and all that. *_* Mom has a habit of not being home until past dark and/or being really busy, so I'm waiting for her to be around to talk to your parents before I call you. And I'll get to the package ASAP. ^^;; I just keep remembering about it at really inconvenient times.
