Awww. Poor Haku. Let us hold a moment of silence in his memory.
*Silence goes here*
Okay.
Mr. Humphers was unusually evil today. Fifteen laps. Fifteen. This would've been okay if we could've walked the curves, ran the straightaways or something, but NO. We had to run the entire way, and if he saw anyone at all walking or stopping, he added laps. Evil, evil man. I would've been perfectly fine except that it triggered a coughing fit in me (even though I'm almost over my cough), which sucked. Everyone was practically suffocating at the end of the fifteen laps. AND, to top it all off, we don't get to play badminton yet, and we still have to play basketball. *Fumes*
Okay, that's my complaining for the day. It was actually a good day, for the record.
Art was just fine. Still critiquing the conceptual pieces (which I still haven't done yet. But that's not the point). One of the concept pieces was really interesting--it involved a fountain made out of aluminum things and textbooks and tubes and a t-shirt and such. :P I really should bring the camera tomorrow to take pictures of the art room. In fact, I think I might go put the camera in my bag right after I write this entry. You all must see it in its messy, brilliant glory.
English was pretty much uneventful, except I read a satire by Johnathan Swift that basically said in order to solve the problem of poverty, poor people should sell their babies at age one for people to eat. XDDD;; I was much too amused for my own good by this. It's definitely up my alley. It was called A Modest Proposal, in case anyone else has a sick enough sense of humor to enjoy such a thing. For the record, the actual story isn't all that interesting, I just love the concept.
I read the newspaper and talked to Cody, KK, and Selah during Anatomy.
After school, we went into the choir room and Nicole, Selah, and KK were researching the costumes they're doing, so that was pretty interesting. Cosplay discussions are always fun. :D
Mom drove me by her house after she picked me up so I could go get Escaflowne and some other shows before we picked Ryan up, and then she drove both of us to Dad's. I was planning on watching Escaflowne with Cody today, but seeing as he was only around for a little over an hour, we decided to sit on my bed and draw instead. Cody drew a weird assortment of things--Link, a washing machine, and a walrus, if I'm not mistaken. XD We also decided it would be really cool if there was a Samurai Walrus. XD;;
Yeah, that's pretty much my day. It's been really nice weather, and I've felt fairly happy and free all day. I'm going to go take a shower and then call Louisa, and then possibly watch some Densha Otoko. And maybe do homework. Maybe.
