Quick entry
Jan. 8th, 2006 09:37 pmI'm eager to get back to Harry Potter 6 (as I am nearly finished with it), but I figured I'd write a brief entry before I do so.
I spent the majority of the day cleaning my room. XD Yes, I was in one of those weird, obsessive cleaning moods, and I spent at least five hours cleaning. It still doesn't look perfect (seeing as I think there is simply too much stuff for such a small room), but it looks much more presentable than before. Cleaning the closet took the longest--there was so much stuff in my closet. @_@ It was also a nice chance to reflect back on my life, as I found a lot of my old toys, sketchbooks, writings, notebooks, and other such things that revealed myself to me at different ages. It's always interesting to note who you once were--I often get so wrapped up in my current self, I forget how I used to be.
I cleaned vigorously until there was nothing left to clean in my room, and then settled down with some tea and read Harry Potter for most of the rest of the day. I took a break about twenty minutes ago to talk to Cody for a little while ('til he decided to go to bed), and earlier I tried to call Louisa (she was busy), but other than that and getting food I didn't stop reading Harry Potter for several hours. I've read at least 300 pages today. XD
I'm feeling very content. It's remarkable how calming cleaning can be, for some reason, provided I'm in the right mood.
