After crying for a while last night, I finally fell asleep, and when I woke up, I was feeling a lot better. Thanks to everyone who helped to cheer me up by commenting, too. :)

Lessee...

The Anatomy test ended up being really easy. :O It was only 20 questions all in all, multiple choice, and two of those questions were bonus questions. It took me maybe fifteen minutes to do, if even that. O_o

Um. Someone had little kittens in my TA period for no apparent reason. They were so cute... Little tabbies. *_*

Lunch...Lunch was interesting. O_o; Erin started squealing for about one and a half minutes straight (loudly, right next to me O_<) because KC brought her some random picture of some random actor that she's obsessed with. Then Makayla joined in, because apparently she's been tainted, and Cassy always was obsessed with the guy. ^^;; Kathryn and I watched and were like "..." Kathryn because she thought it was pathetic, me because I'm only interested in anime guys, as everyone knows. The only point at which I perked up was when Makayla brought up the fact that this guy is playing Schmendrick in the live-action The Last Unicorn. O_O! I didn't even know she knew about the upcoming live action TLU... Other than me bringing it up occasionally in my fangirlish glee, that is. At that point I started squeeing about my love of TLU, and I think I spouted a few quotes, too.

Anyway.

Math was unthrilling, but it wasn't bad either.

We ate pizza in English because Marissa brought it in for her demonstration speech. :3

After school, Mom had an appointment with the gum-surgeon-guy, so I went along and listened to music for the entire trip (except when I took a break to read movie reviews in random entertainment magazines in the waiting room). She went to Ross and Target after that and it started raining, and I stayed in the car and continued to listen to music.

So...uh...that was my day, pretty much.

OH! And what is up with my birds lately?! Apparently, my beloved chicken DaBouff passed away for no apparent reason today. ;_; She wasn't that old or anything... She showed no signs of disease, and she wasn't attacked by anything. She just...passed away in her sleep. O_o; I'm going to miss her a lot. ;_; Not quite as traumatic as Claus, because, though I was very attached to her, she died a peaceful and unpreventable death. It seems like our big chickens die a lot earlier than the small ones... The same thing happened with Snowtip, where we just found her dead one day, peaceful and seemingly healthy. Rest in Peace, Bouff. You were a wonderful chicken, and I'll miss you. ;_;

Did I somehow obtain bad karma or something? I don't get what's up with all the death lately. o_o I don't like it.

Mew, it's already 9:30? No way! It's weird how time passes on school days. >< School is frustrating because it offers little time for me to appreciate the things I want to appreciate, which generally require time.

At least tomorrow and Thursday are minimum days. :D

I just met the killer of Quon, Lavie, and Claus face-to-face (and with my nose, too -_-). O_O

Lily and I went down to the chicken coop in the rain just now, just to check on the flock, and Lily raised her hackles and started growling at the door to the indoor part of the coop. I immediately knew we had found the killer, and I was little crazed about it. I had no plan, but I threw open the door with a yell and there...was a clump of black and white fur with frightened eyes.

It took a second for it to register with me that it was a skunk, and a freaked-out, puffed-up one at that. He was maybe three feet away from me, if not closer, and Lily was right in his face. For a minute my instincts were telling me [illogically] to capture him or something (yeah, right. With what?), but soon I was looking at his big tail up in the air and it registered. Duh, it was a skunk. Three feet away. And I had him cornered. RUN!

So Lily and I tore off towards the house just before he stank up the whole area, and I was yelling "MOM, MOM, I FOUND THE SKUNK!" except she didn't hear me at first, so I had to go up to the house to get her to understand.

Ryan, Mom, and Tia accompanied Lily and I back down there, where the door was wide open and the skunk had fled. We reinforced the door with rocks and sticks so he hopefully can't get in again, and checked all other openings to the coop. Ryan was scared that the skunk was going to leap out of the darkness and attack him (as usual), and kept taking the lantern, making my anti-skunk measures rather difficult.

Darn, I only wish I had found him before last night... And to think this all could have been prevented. ;_;

We're thinking we might try to trap the skunk with a feral cat trap (using eggs as bait, because before we got the doves all he ate were the eggs (he never touches the chickens, thank Ho-oh)) and relocate him. I wouldn't have the heart to kill him, even though he did kill my beloved pets. ;_;

It was actually kind of thrilling to find him, though, and be face-to-face with him. At least now I know what he is and how he gets in the coop, so I can commence prevention measures. o_o

Heh, just thought I'd share that with you. I hope Lily doesn't smell like skunk...I think we got away just in the nick of time.
