I'm petsitting for Kathy, our fawn rehabber, from Wednesday to next Tuesday. It'll be hard work, as she has three horses, but it'll be nice to get out of my house and spend some time on my own. Also, it'll be some money towards my planned Japan trip in the end of March. :D Honey's going to come with me because she gets along fine with her rat terrier Rowdy and irish wolfhound Fiona, who are both very sweet dogs. I'll almost certainly be able to get online still there, but if not I'll have to go on hiatus for those six days.

If anyone wants to come along and hang out there for a few days or whatever amount of time, you're welcome to! I'll be doing all the work, no need to worry about that, it would just be a good opportunity to watch anime/talk a bunch/draw/whatever.

The power was out earlier today because of the wind. Annoying. At least it came on again once I got home~

Some spam bot or something got into my Twitter account somehow and messaged everyone stupid repetitive messages. x___x; I changed my password, hopefully that'll keep whatever it was out.

I felt so queasy last night, I thought I was going to throw up! But I went to bed, and when I got up in the morning I felt fine, so... I'm so glad I didn't end up vomiting and don't seem to be sick. :3

Kinda tired, just going to lie around and watch TV for a while.

Is your family in general very active with rehabilitation, or did it start primarily with you?

Indeed! She's huge and very lovely and sweet. ♥ Her cutest attribute is that she rings a wind chime when she needs to go outside. So smart! XD

Wildlife rehabilitation is definitely just my thing, though my family gets involved by necessity sometimes. My brother and mom help sometimes, and my dad puts up with it. But my mom is active in animal rescue--she's fostering a horse right now, and my family has done foster care for cats and dogs in the past.

Yes, a few years ago I got to housesit for her when there were fourteen fawns there. :D They were so cute--I had to bottle feed all of them twice a day. It was lots of fun. They were obsessed with licking my legs!

It will be fairly busy, but not too bad! Mostly the morning/early afternoon, and then after that I'll have lots of free time. I wish you could come visit the animals, too. :)
