Not MY pets, though--YOURS! :D

I periodically like to let everyone on my f-list post photos of all their pets so we can "Oooh!" and "Awww!" at each others' critters. So, if you have pets, post them in the comments! :)

If you don't have any pets, post what pet(s) you would get if you could have them!

And yes, I do have a pet photo post coming up somewhat soon--I got some pictures of the new chickens, the three guinea fowl, Tux Duck, and I'm going to take pictures of the remaining pets that have not been photographed once I find some batteries to put in the camera.

LOL, I love the expression on Leetol's face! Looks like he's in mid-meow or something. Adorable!

Rotunda is the best name ever. :'D Black cats tend to be the sweetest cats in my experience. My foster cat, Eclipse, used to sit on my homework because he wanted cuddles.

Pooli has such beautiful eyes! And I love her ears! One flopped ear/one straight ear = super cute!

Pffft, looks can be deceiving! The cat is totally crazy/psycho, and I'm basically the only living thing on the planet that it likes. It's super nice to me but freaks out at everyone else.

LOL, I don't doubt it! At least he's not crazy/psycho towards you, though. Haha, cats are so weird about deciding who they like and who they don't. It seems like it's a completely arbitrary decision.

I had to actually cut a bit of matted fur off him the other night, because it was so bad. DX He kept trying to get it off himself, but he'd get stuck and run into the wall. Wtf?

Andyyyy! She is so cute. \o/ Her ears are darling, and she just looks so huggable!

Jazz has beautiful eyes! As I was saying above to another friend, black cats seem to have the most loving/cuddly personalities. Great name, too!

Dorian looks so pretty handsome! I haven't seen that many long-haired orange tabbies, I don't think, and he looks very charming! And I've had to cut mats off of my old long-haired cat, too. Actually, at one point she got so matted she had to be shaved by a professional groomer under sedation. .___.; This is partly because she WILL NOT allow you to brush her, though, or she screams bloody murder and turns into a demon cat (no exaggeration here).

Sammy, who's a fat old man, and Mocha, a dachshund who lives with my dad now. Sammy's an Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi mix, which coincidentally are my two favorite breeds. ♥ The dark spot above his eye is a scar from where he got hit by a car before we got him. ;;'

Eee, a corgi mix! :D You know I looooove corgis, hee hee. That spot on the top of his head is too cute! ♥ And awwww, Mocha is darling and so teeny! I know you had such a hard time giving her up, but I'm so happy that at least you still get to see her and she's happy where she is. She's still your family's dog. :)

Awwww, what a sweet old doggy face! Is he/she a golden retriever? Old doggies are the most accepting, deeply loving creatures on the planet, in my opinion. It's impossible not to love them. ♥ And your hammies are so cute! What are your critters' names? :)

Yep, golden retriever. Does he already look that old in there? XD It's not a recent photo, I rarely take pictures of him nowadays because he's in terrible shape... I mean I'm used to it, seeing him every day, but he's half of what he used to be. He had a hip joint dysplasia his whole life and now near his 13th birthday he rarely walks. His hind legs muscles atrophed and thanks to other medical problems he's just a limping skin and bones. I can see how people are horrified seeing him like that but we know inside he's still doing fine. Since he can't go after other dogs he just lay down and squeek with his chew toy to tease them. He's still hungry more than ever and enjoys just laying in the grass and looking around... I thought we'll have to put him down months ago but he's still active and apart from looking ashamed when he trips he doesn't look like in lot of pain... even vets say it's not the time yet. I don't know, but I'm prepared for the worst every day. Oh and his name is Athos. The hamsters are Kimchi (golden) and Coolko (dove).

He just looks a little older, not that old! (LOL sorry for the accidental response! XD I pressed a button somehow that put it through too early.) I think it's partly the effect of the flash.

Awww, it sounds like, even with his old age difficulties, he still has a good quality of life. Dogs can still enjoy themselves in old age even if they can't walk so well. We had my first dog, a Shetland Sheepdog named Lea, until she was sixteen, and she had arthritis from the time she was eight, so I understand how that is. It's when they stop eating and seem totally disinterested in everything that it's time to let them go usually... You'll know when the time comes, I think. In the meantime, enjoy him. He sounds like a sweet old fellow. :)

MY BUG!
We rescued him from the engine of my roommate's VW Beetle when he was only about 6 weeks, so he got the name Bug \o/ He's trouble, not very bright, but very silly and cute.

Well I DON'T HAVE A CAT (SIGH) (yet)

Buuut this is the one and only cat I have actually got to touch ever since coming: she hangs around at the temple. And is ridiculously silky. For some reason she loves headbutting my palm and nothing else. I can't stroke her properly because she keeps trying to headbutt my hand o_o

Such a beautiful kitty! How funny that she headbutts your palm. Certain kitties have certain things they like to do, though--for instance, my calico CC particularly likes crawling under the covers and sleeping under there with people. And my old cat Princess likes to poke people in the face with her paw to try to get them to pet her, but she does not do this to me, oddly enough. Lovely photo of her to have as your wallpaper! She does look very soft.
