JERK WHO TOOK THE SHELTER CORGI PART II

pacificpikachuI'm sure all of you remember the whole story with the jerk and his two bratty kids who snuck in at the last minute and stole the corgi I was going to adopt (and had been waiting over two hours for), right?
FOR BITING THE KIDS.
WHO CALLED THIS? WHO KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN? OHHH YEAH, I DID! I just had a bad feeling about it, and even after getting Hooch (who is about as perfect as a dog for our family as possible, and I am SO HAPPY we got him) my mind kept wandering to that corgi, wondering about her and still feeling upset that she went of to an unknown fate with that asshole.
Well, my mom's not too sure about taking in a third dog, but I think that things happen for a reason and at the very least I want to bust her out of that shelter and get her somewhere safe. So, either on Friday morning (as the message they left me said) or Sunday morning (as the lady at the shelter who didn't know I have Finders First priority on this dog said), I am going to go get her. We'll decide whether we just foster her and find her a home later, keep her, or keep her at my dad's house later. I just want that poor corgi out of that cage that she's had to be in twice in the last few weeks. I want her away from all the families who will go "OOOH, SHE'S SO CUTE MOMMY, WE SHOULD TAKE HER!" with no regard of the safety of that decision.
This is going to be interesting. I honestly, truly feel like this all happened for a reason, though. Because they took her, we got Hooch (AKA the perfect dog for us and sweetest little guy ever) and now we can also offer her a safe, fitting home with no small children whether it's with us or someone else. I'm just sorry the poor girl had to get caught up in this whole mess of probably being in a home, being a stray, ending up at the shelter, going to a home and trying to fit there, and getting returned to the shelter. That's really rough on a dog. :(
You guys called it, too. Several of you said karma was going to bite him in the butt, and it certainly did.
AHHH I can't believe this is happening! I really hope this works out in her best interest this time... They'd better honor that Finders First priority they gave me. D< Otherwise I'll be really, really upset with the shelter.
EDIT: They officially have her on hold for me and I'm picking her up Friday!
