pacificpikachuThanks to everyone who wished me well. I'm feeling most of the way better now, so I'm sure as long as I rest while studying I'll be back to 100% in a day or two. Figures I would get so horribly sick right before finals week, ughhh.

1. What are your nicknames?
I don't think I have any true nicknames. :( Most people just call me Kristin in real life unless we're goofing around, in which case I have too many nicknames to even name. Online, though, my screen name often becomes Pacific or Pika.
2. How do you style your hair?
I have bangs that I get cut periodically and I brush it and wash it (obviously), and other than that my hair is basically free to do whatever it wants. It's down a little past my shoulder blades length-wise, and sometimes fairly straight, sometimes fairly wavy, depending on the humidity.
3. What's new in your life right now?
Not a whole lot, really. We just got a Christmas tree today, and other than that...ummm. .__.;
4. What are you wearing at the moment?
Fanmade Haruhiism shirt from wayyy before the series was licensed, blue shorts, and underwear and a bra of course. Oh, and white socks.
5. Do you need music to study/write?
YES. I require music to study and write.
6. What was the last book you read?
I haven't been reading too much lately because of my classes, which needs to be remedied and fast. :( But I think the last book I read was Thanking the Monkey: Rethinking the Way We Treat Animals, which was a fantastic book on animal rights. Highly recommended.
7. Do you cook a lot?
No. I occasionally make pasta or microwave food or whatever, but I'm not that big on cooking.
8. Do you have a crush at the moment?
Pfft, I always have some little (or not-so-little in some cases) crush or another on fictional characters. As for real people, though? Nahhh.
9. Is there anything that has made you happy these days?
The fact that I am not horribly ill any more makes me incredibly happy! Also,archaneah and I making plans for winter break in huge TL;DR comments, getting to decorate the Christmas tree tomorrow, the holidays in general, the fact that the semester is almost over, getting to spend time with friends again over the break, winning more awesome Pokémon stuff (27" Pikachu plush? Espeon friends plush? Yesss!), Anime LA coming up, getting to meet wao in a month or so, and a number of other things.
10. What was the last thing you ate today?
An orange otter pop.
11. Why?
Because I couldn't eat much of my dinner and but I wanted something light on the stomach.
12. What websites do you visit daily?
LiveJournal (of course), Yahoo! Mail, DeviantART, Yahoo! Japan Auctions, Anime News Network, AnimeSuki, Ebay, and Facebook.
13. What's the best movie you've seen recently?
I haven't watched a whole lot in the way of movies recently, sadly enough. I did rewatch Once, though, which is a fantastic movie with incredible music. ♥
14. Which languages do you wish you spoke?
Japanese, of course, for shamelessly otaku reasons as well as the fact that I quite like the language itself. What? Do you really want me to lie? I might as well be honest.
15. What do you want for Christmas?
Ah, I need to get around to that wishlist meme... More than anything, though, getting to spend time with friends!
16. What are you daydreaming about right now?
The semester being over and getting to hang out with friends and geek out and not have to worry about homework and deadlines. :(
17. Who was your childhood idol?
When I was really, really little, Seabert the seal from an animated TV series about conservation (I think this says a lot about me, LOL?), and later on probably Steve Irwin. RIP.
18. Where would you like your next holiday to be?
Japan! But I'll happily settle for Anime LA.
19. What is your dream car?
The Pikabug would be amazing to have.
20. Tell me something you love about the person who tagged you.
A very sweet person who is always a lot of fun to talk to! She has a great sense of humor, is very compassionate and friendly, a loyal and wonderful follower of our lord Hypnochat, and always makes me feel welcome and amused. ♥ A valued friend. A+ would LOL with and be friends with again.

We're such massive geeks, haha, but at least we know it! I love how much we abused the sparkles and effects (we had even worse ones than that, actually) and how we did intentionally stupid otaku poses.
Also, KK/archaneah and I are insane. We've written eighty-four comments back and forth so far. Mostly NOT short comments at all, either--big long hilarious ones! Amazing. We've been at this for quite a few hours now. I don't even know how this happened. It degenerated from sane conversation into long capslock diatribes, too.
I have lots to do tomorrow and...basically until Thursday I have lots to do.Meaning I will probably be on LJ procrastinating more than usual! But Thursday will be a glorious day!
I think it's time to go to bed now.

I have about 2 ridiculously embarrassing ones, one taken when I was 13 with a bunch of grade-school classmates I hardly talked to, and another at 15 (or 16?) with some seniors/juniors... and I'd look even worse in one now LOL. I always manage to look amazingly awkward. I've never had one with my closest friends because I suspect they all feel the same way too!
