Sooo it's nearly 4 AM, and I am still up and rather awake.

I have to be up at 6 AM, so I'm trying to decide whether it's even worth it to go to bed for the two hours max I'd get. :/ I guess I'll just go to sleep if I feel like it.

Personally, I find it really difficult to just sleep for a little while. But then again, I'm an insomniac so it usually takes me at least an hour to fall asleep anyway.

For me, it varies. Sometimes I get one hour of sleep and feel fine, other times I feel like I was hit by a truck. It seems to depend on if I got all the way through my REM sleep or not--if I vividly remember dreams, it usually means it got interrupted and I will spend the day feeling as though someone drugged me.

It takes me a long time to go to sleep most of the time, too. :/

Have you heard of sleep cycles? I don't know much about them, and I'm not really sure if I buy into them yet, but...40-45 minutes is supposed to be a cycle, and interrupting cycles is what makes people more tired. Therefore, if you have a 2-hour block, then sleeping for 1.5 hours would probably be best. I dunno...lol.

Oooh, that's interesting! I do think there must be something like that, though, because if I wake up and remember my dreams clearly, it generally means I'm downright exhausted the whole day.
