Stay away from the NaNoWriMo forums when you are planning to sleep. Not only are there far, far too many fun things to do there, it gets you all excited and is not conducive to sleep in general. So get off of it right now!

Yes, I am! :D I need to finish my last novel first, though--I finished my 50K, but not the story itself. At least I have six months!

Will you be taking advantage of it as well?

Hmm, not sure. If I did, it would be my story from 2006, which is finished, but I would still have to edit it muchly. It's 60k-ish, too, so I don't know if there's a limit. I haven't really looked into it yet.

You should, you should! Get editing. :D Perhaps that could be a side NaNo project for you, or perhaps for December or something.

If I'm remembering correctly, it said there wasn't really a limit... I'm not sure on that, though, you'll definitely want to check it. If there is a limit, it'll probably be quite a bit higher than 60k, though.

This obviously varies from person-to-person, but I've found it's actually rather manageable time-wise. I completed it last year no sweat with a challenging/time-consuming Chemistry class, three other difficult classes, all my pets, and lots of other things going on and I even got an acceptable amount of sleep!

Perhaps you could start it out and see what happens from there? It's worth a try, anyway, and if it doesn't end up working for you it's not like there's any consequence for dropping it. :)
