Sometimes I wish I had more practice with drawing people. ;^; I'm extremely comfortable with drawing animals because I've been drawing them since I was little--I understand how their skeletal structure and musculature works, and how their bodies balance. With people it's...not that different, but the whole bipedal thing makes it confusing for me, haha. I also have a lot of trouble with face shape for some strange reason. I should practice people more, but because it's frustrating I don't usually want to and when I do I get annoyed. Trying to draw Ranka right now--we'll see how it goes. ^^; And here I want to do character designs for my NaNoWriMo characters (both this year and last)~

Dad, Ryan, and I watched Iron Man today. Am I the only one who wasn't all that impressed? I don't know, I suppose it just wasn't my type of movie, but to me it felt rather...like an average action film? I don't get why the critics were so amazed by it. No offense to anyone who loved it, and you guys seem to be in the vast majority anyway, but I just don't get the big deal about it. I guess I just have to stick to my complex artsy movies.

I have packaging and shipping to do tomorrow! And selling, too, whether my packages arrive or not. (Of course, I'd prefer they do arrive, but we'll see.) I wish Dragonite would just come already. It's been about two or three months of mishaps getting to me and he was supposed to be here last Thursday and...he isn't. ;___; DRAGONIIIIITE PLEASE ARRIVE? PLEASE? I WANT TO HUG YOU!

My sleeping schedule is so, so very messed-up. I've been going to bed anywhere between 2 and 5 AM and waking up anywhere between 2 and 4 PM. D: That's a lot of sleep, and on such a strange schedule.

A lot of people seem to be the opposite, where they struggle with animals and are great at people. I think it just comes down to what you draw and observe more, and I spent a lot of my life being reluctant to draw people. I'm not actually that bad at people, and I think I understand how bodies fit together better than a lot of people, but it takes me forever to draw people and I get frustrated. If you ever need help with animal drawings, let me know! I don't draw anthros so I don't know how helpful I'd be on that front, but actual animals? Let me know if you ever want some advice and maybe some redlining or something. :>

Yes, I thought Iron Man was a fine movie--it's not like it was bad or anything--but it was just...so average and straightforward. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing, but I was expecting a lot more based off the rave reviews and everyone going on about how much they loved it. I guess most people have different expectations of movies than I do, or something.

I HOPE SO TOO! He's been a long time in coming. :( He's one of those huge Dragonite pillows and I've wanted one since I was ten, so I'm sad that there have been so many problems with him getting to me. ;___;

I actually just watched Iron Man last night. XD I really liked it. I don't think it's necessarily one of my favorites, but I still quite liked it.

Hahaha, I swear, last night was like WATCH IRON MAN night--you're the second person on my f-list who watched it last night as well. O__o; We're all synchronized or something!

I didn't think it was bad by any means, I just...don't get the big deal, I guess. XD

Ha ha, I only started drawing (again) when I wanted to get a better grip on my characters, when beforehand all I drew were wolves. And now it's the complete opposite. (Then again, all my "wolves" were merely like...line motifs... >>)

never saw iron man. You are probably right though. While Tony Starks is freaking amazing, the hero movies are not all that impressive (save for freaking batman). Most of my super-hero-movie-going died with Spiderman. I tried to hide it for a while, but they really didn't do a good job. They did OK... but ... no.
Remember the first movie with the Green Goblin holding MJ and the children over a bridge and drops them both? In the comics, it was Gwen (peter's FIRST true love) and he attempts to catch them both like he does flawlessly in the movie, but FAILS. Gwen dies.
Remember the second movie how spiderman decides to just forget his powers? Yeah, that can't happen. In the comics he does find a way to suppress his abilities chemically, but ... no
And GOD DAMN the third one. I'm not even going to start.
