Off to Tahoe!
Jul. 27th, 2008 06:45 pmWell everyone, I'm headed off to Tahoe in an hour or so, so I'll be on less frequently than usual until next Sunday. I'll probably check my e-mail one to two times a day and maybe keep up with my f-list depending on how much time I have, but we'll see. I may end up so busy with my cousins that I don't go on much/at all.
I hope you guys all have a fantastic week, and I'll talk to you either while I'm there or when I get back. ♥ ILU ALL!
It's going to be nice to relax without having to worry about caring for my fifty-one pets, diseased/possibly dying birds, dealing with wildlife phone calls, convention schedules, hotel costs, keeping together unimaginable amounts of stuff, and whatnot. Not that I don't love all those things, but they do get stressful eventually, you know? Anime conventions are wonderful thrilling vacations, but relaxing they are not.
Now I shall try to convert my extremely religious cousins into anime fans. 8D Actually I probably won't, but I'll fantasize about it anyway. I have no idea why I fantasize about such a strange thing, but I think about it more frequently than...is normal. O__o;
I'm going to have like 274854241754544 Pokémon packages when I come back. *0*
When I get back, I need to apply for a passport and begin saving for Japan. I have no idea how I'm going to start saving upespecially because I can't stop spending money on Pokémon or where the money will come from, but I'm determined. SOMEHOW. SOMEHOW IT WILL WORK OUT.
Anyway, now I'm rambling. Have a nice week, everyone!

Date: 2008-08-01 07:19 am (UTC)And you're planning to go to Japan?? For vacation? For school? For work?? Haha too many questions. I still need to catch up on your posts. You see I was checking my f-list at lunch and someone saw your pikachu icon and we started a pikachu vs. squirtle debate and I ended up not writing anything >_>||
Not that I'm knowledgeable about pokemon at all but how can anyone diss pikachu.... >_>

Date: 2008-08-01 07:31 am (UTC)Yes, I'm planning on going to Japan! Just for fun and shopping for ten days with a group of people from
I also may try to meet Yoko Kanno if I can because I have a connection to her, but that's reeeeeeeeeeallly a long-shot.You can catch up whenever (or not at all!). I don't mind. :D
People diss Pikachu all the time, actually. :/ I don't really mind, though--it is given way more focus and merchandising than anything else, and I can see why that would get on the nerves of some people. Pikachu isn't even my favorite, though it's in my top five. I just think it's an interesting and cute Pokémon, and I like drawing Pikachu on everything in a bunch of different styles.
