FRIENDS CUT

I cut around twenty people. Mostly people who hadn't updated in a long time, or who never really commented or replied to my comments. What's the point of having people on your friends list that you don't even talk to? A few people were cut because we just don't have that much in common and therefore I don't really know what to say to you. If I read your entries and never felt I had much to say, or you never had much to say to me, then I cut you.

Nothing personal to any of you--I wish you all the best! Feel free to say hi if you see me around communities or whatever, because like I said I have no personal negative feelings towards you at all. :) I'd prefer you remove me, but if you want to stick around and continue reading my journal (which is not friends-only mostly), feel free to do so.

If I cut you and you feel I've made a mistake and would really like to stay, just drop me a comment. If you'd rather we part ways for some reason but you weren't cut, leave me a comment. Comments are screened, so say whatever you'd like.

hahahah that's exactly what happens with all my cuts as well. just now i made a cut that only consisted of like four people and one comm. all active. and D: it still didn't cut my flist down...at all.

I've noticed that basically my f-list has exploded in a large part because of pkmncollectors... But I read and participate in nearly every post there and it's like. My favorite community. So I fail, hahaha.

I don't know--we'll see in a week or so if I've cut down much of anything with the people I deleted. I suspect not. XD

i feel bad whenever i see posts like these with comments saying "YAY I'M STILL HERE," because i'm sure people who are cut see the comments and feel like salt is being rubbed into their wounds.

It was generally a matter of mutual disinterest or just a lack of things in common, so I don't think anyone really feels bad... And if they do, I hope they pipe up, because I don't want to cut anyone who wants to stay.

Nooo, of course not! Like I said, I was mostly just cutting people who I don't talk to much/at all or who don't really share interests. We talk a fair amount and have a lot of interests in common. :)

Of course, KK! All the sudden, out of the blue, I will cut you from my friends list on LiveJournal. Then I will join the mafia and start selling organs on the black market and then I'll assassinate Ronald Mcdonald, who is actually Mitt Romney in disguise. Next I will fly to Cambodia, where I will spend the rest of my life selling ostrich feathers and counterfeit ancient relics on Ebay. That is what will happen.

I have no idea where that came from.
