May. 16th, 2008 05:10 pmWell, this is going to be an interesting week.
The wild turkeys are coming back from the vet within a few minutes. The vet says as long as I hobble them (in other words, basically tape their legs together so they're at the proper angles) and they get proper nutrition, they will likely recover. This makes me very happy, as I'm already attached to the little buggers. They're so cute.
In addition to these guys, I'm taking four jays (three stellar's, one scrub) that are nearly but not quite self-feeding. My goal is to make sure they're self-feeding and give them no love or attention whatsoever so they learn their lesson: humans are mean. That said, they will get excellent care. Just no love or attention. XD ♥
ALSO INCOMING: BABY CROWS!
Not sure how many, what condition they're in, or any of those vital things, but nonetheless they are coming. Baby crows are pretty much the best things ever. They make horrible, strange noises when you feed them and flap all around and have big blue eyes and are generally hilarious and adorable. :D
In addition to this, of course, is cosplay work! And lots and lots of it. I will be making long, frequent trips to Fabric Boutique, and the crows and possibly the turkeys will have to come along and sit in the back where no one can see them.
Will post pictures next time I have the camera. :D This week promises to be nuts, but at least it'll be a fun type of nuts.
EDIT: LULZ, the "crows" are actually blackbirds.
