IF YOU GUYS ARE EIGHTEEN OR OLDER, I HOPE VERY THOROUGHLY THAT YOU ARE VOTING TOMORROW. DO IT, DO IT, DO IT! DON'T FORGET! :D

Edit: Assuming, of course, that you're in the US. If you're elsewhere, ignore. XD (Obviously.)

Except that I don't live in the States ;o;

Heck, over here there's a rather sad excuse for voting because the government keeps redrawing the electoral boundaries and have sufficiently brainwashed the people so that they keep winning.
Oh, and not to mention utterly stamp out opposition by making it very hard for them (or anyone) to do anything (even NINE people making a peaceful Burma protest in groups of 3 with nothing but red shirts and candles got badgered by the uni Dean, police and others before they even did anything)

There are people who've lived here for 40 years and still haven't voted once in their life. ;( I doubt I'll ever get the chance to either...

That's terrible. While I don't think our US system works very well at all, it's at least something where we get to make a statement on what we believe and what we want to happen. I hope someday that cycle is broken so a better government can be created there. A world in which people can't protest peacefully and quietly is a sad world indeed. :(

Well, practically everyone is just used to accepting things the way they are and keeping it conservative - those who can't stand it almost inevitably go overseas. There are lots of ridiculous things that happen because the government won't let go - but I guess it could be a lot worse. It's a matter of time before the government goes though; I don't think it can stay very long as they're surviving on the vestiges of their appeal in the 60s - I'm not sure they can come up with subsequent generations of competent leaders from now on. But I am worried that it will collapse badly rather than lead to the natural emergence of an alternative, what with most capable people leaving and those coming in unlikely to stay long... :(

Oh and I just realised that when I view this entry in Firefox it says "IF YOU GUYS ARE EIGHTEEN OR OLDER, I HOP"

K I'M 18.5
NOW GET ON THAT LEG AND MOVE IT :v

Isn't my icon beautiful, by the way? Yah, I know it is.

My Icon thinks that your icon sucks. :P

In all seriousness though: Best pairing ever! I'm just worried that they're doomed. :( I will cry.

I WOULD BE VOTING IF I WERE OF AGE. D:.

You know, this comment surprised me, because I always peg you as being older based solely on your writing style. I always assume you're my age even though I've read your profile multiple times and I know how old you are, damn it. I just forget, it seems. -____-;;

And don't worry! You're almost there. I remember that I hated being sixteen and simply wanting to vote. Just a couple more years, though. Hang in there!

Most people always tend to think I'm older than I am when they meet me. Which is a good thing, in my opinion, since I dislike how the typical sixteen year old acts, but it's kind of shitty when they suddenly decide I'm not as great as they originally thought just because of my year of birth.

Indeed! D:. I just want to vote because I feel strongly against one of the candidates, and...well, yes.

Aw, darn it. Well, be sure to vote then! That seems like such a long way away, though. D:

I would be voting...if I were actually of reasonable distance to the voting facility.

Yay college.

(That and I hate politics anyway.)

If I was a US citizen, I would've totally exercised my right to vote. In the US, elections sometimes actually CHANGE something. Here they just don't matter.

It's amazing how many countries have messy governments at this point in time. I hope sometime you'll get to vote for real and it'll change things... I know the government situation there is not so great. :(

Yup, just about to walk to the polls, in fact. I was so excited for this that I actually went and registered to vote on my 18th birthday. No way in HELL I'm not voting today!

(Also, they found a new type of warbler in Nepal. It's cuuuuute, too. I just saw the article and thought of you. :3)

Go you! I'm glad that so many young people are voting this time around. It's about time that everyone starts getting involved in politics and actually caring about what's going on in the government.

Awww, that makes me happy that you thought of me. It is adorable! ♥

YAY, I can vote! Except my primary isn't until like march 4 or something, lol.

for freaking serious. Don't vote= can't complain. I reserve my right to complain. Too bad my primary isn't until like... freaking MAY. At LEAST I vote before Puerto Rico does... ? Is this a good thing? I'm not sure.

... HAAAAYYY, wait a minute, why only mention that guys should vote? Girls should vote too! ... oh wait, you said guys, not males.... I am SOOO smart. I'll just go do PDEs to make myself FEEL smart... 'cause we all know it's just a facade
