10K!

I officially made it to 10K! Yes, I know several of you are further along than me. But it feels like a nice accomplishment to me. Earlier today I was quite discouraged about the quality of my novel, but now I'm back in good spirits about it. My characters went back to being interesting and cool, and there have been lots of interesting developments (okay--by the Literary Fiction definition of "interesting developments," anyway). I want to make a soundtrack for my novel, and do character designs, and...yeah! I hope I'll have time sometime this week to do something fun like that. It'll keep me motivated as far as writing goes, too.

I entirely blame my energy and productiveness on the Honey & Clover Live Action OST. Oh, Yoko Kanno, I don't think I could live without you. ♥

On one hand, I should probably go to sleep so I can get to my appointment tomorrow, but on the other hand... Those NaNoWriMo forums are awfully entertaining. And the Hachikuro soundtrack has given me far too much happy energy. And I want to listen to the new WriMoRadio that just went up.

I'll go to bed eventually, promise. In the meantime... \o/

Man, I need to ship out those packages still. ;_; I can't even tell you how guilty I feel about that.

mwahhaha, check my lj, I just posted a comic that talks about nanowrimo and noshavenovember. It's truly crap, but I drew and colored it in like 30 minutes, so I don't feel half bad. You should send me your novel when you get done. Tell hitchi to send me hers too. I probably can't give you constructive criticism, but I can certainly steal-- I mean enjoy your ideas ^.^

I'll probably need at least a month to edit my novel before sending it to anyone. XD As it is, it has plenty of mistakes, inconsistencies, and weird phrasing. A big part of NaNoWriMo is drugging your inner editor so they're comatose for the rest of the month, locking them in a broom closet, or finding some other method of getting them out of your head.

Ah, the glory of being insane. We couldn't get much done if we weren't. No, I guess we couldn't...
No worries on the editing. Take your time. But I do expect to get it some time before I turn 25, ok? ^.^

10k!!!!

Wow, that's wonderful! I haven't moved an inch since Sunday, because last night we went over to a friends house after work to watch V for Vendetta (remember remember the fifth of november). Sigh.

Oh well, tonight shall make up for it! ::cracks knuckles::

Thanks! I'm proud I've made it this far, though in the big scheme of things I have a long way to go.

Wow, you ARE quick! I just hit 10k a few minutes ago.

Oh, yeah! I had a very Narcissu-esque dream last night, and I want to put it in LJ, but I probably won't have time until friday.
