Aughhhh, today has been insane.

I got in a fledgling mourning dove yesterday that Nina was going to take, but then the dove decided to get herself completely wet and cold and I was afraid she was going to die, so I didn't give her to Nina. Nina has had enough tragedy in the last few days. Both of the baby pigeons she's had so far have died, and her current, older pigeon has a cold now. Thankfully, once I warmed her up, the dove rebounded and she looks like she's going to be okay.

I also got a single, littleteensyweensy (think: could stand on a quarter easily and have room to spare) baby quail. Quail are intensely social animals, so it's really difficult to raise just one. He's adorable and puffy and stripey, but I'm concerned about his chances of survival because he's alone.

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to feed these two. Hopefully I'll figure it out in the morning. If not, I'll have a lot of phone calls to make and lot of [safe] experimentation to do. :/

These two are in addition to the three baby stellar's jays and the crow and magpie. Seven birds. This would be much easier if they were one or two species instead of five. XD

ALSO, IT HAILED AND THUNDERED LIKE CRAZY TODAY. IT IS JUNE. WTF, WEATHER? We're talking INSAAAAAANE hail, not just normal hail. It looks like it snowed, and it's quite cold out.

There's much more to talk about, but I'm tired and stressed and just want to play Pokémon. ^^;

Perhaps I'll take some bird pictures tomorrow if I have some time.

Bird pictures would be amazing. The baby quail sounds so adorable. :)

Whenever funky weather happens, I always shout "global warming!" Ha.
