Sorry if I'm not writing regularly these days. I had an absolutely terrible and stressful Chemistry test yesterday, along with a quiz that I know I failed, a lab that was due that I didn't finish, and homework that wasn't done. =_= The test was so horrible... It was extremely hard, and out of the 20-something people who took it, only two people finished it before the time allotted was exceeded. One of those people I suspect gave up, as he finished it too quickly for it to be possible. I guess Mr. Burns isn't 100% evil (only 99.9%), because he did give us the test to complete at home and turn in Monday, and he's going to average the in-class test score with the at-home test score.

I think I got about a D+ (if that) on the in-class test, so it's really REALLY good he's giving us a chance to semi-redeem ourselves.

Today I was supposed to be doing Chemistry homework. However, Mom didn't pick up the solutions manual that I need in order to survive, so I ended up filming birds and watching TV for much of the day. The camcorder is so awesome. *_* The picture is so sharp, and the colors are BRIGHT and the zoom! The zoom is killer. I can zoom in on birds about 200 feet away and still manage to have them fill up the screen. I briefly filmed about ten different species, along with making short videos of my pets. I ♥ the camcorder--I can't WAIT to bring it to an anime convention and use it on the birds I rehab and such. It'll also be awesome to be able to film different types of birds at Graylodge, whenever I go back.

Hahaha, while I was filming, random things kept happening. Like I wished the flicker I saw a few days ago would show up so I could film it, and while I was watching a group of robins--lo and behold, there he was! He landed in a nearby tree and I got a little closer, and then he flew directly towards the sun. So, suffice to say, no flicker footage. He disappeared. That and I wanted to get footage of some acorn woodpeckers and spotted towhees, which are always in my yard. I mean, ALWAYS. But suddenly, there were none to be found! I did eventually locate about a ten minutes walk away from home, but the footage didn't turn out so great because you can only see his back.

Also, I thought cynically, "I'll bet the second I put the camera away, something really awesome is going to happen." When all the birds seemed to have disappeared, I put the camcorder away and stepped back outside. Literally about ten steps out the door, a red-tailed hawk flew right over me. I facepalmed.

Mom seriously injured her leg today while riding Rivi, so I'm busy and kind of stressed-out at the moment. She can hardly walk, so I have a ton of things to do and I'm trying to do my Biology homework and it's not working and...gahhh.

Stress sucks. I can't WAIT for this semester to be over. I have a headache. I have to wake up early and I'm going to have to walk Hana in the middle of the night because Mom can't walk. I don't do well when my sleep is interrupted...

Gah. Now I must sleep.
