In further Suzumiya Haruhi news, Bandai Entertainment has updated the asosbrigade.com website with a new video, which includes the announcement that The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi Volume 1 will be released on May 29. A special edition, with box (for all 4 volumes) will also be released. The video also makes some comments regarding fansubs available on YouTube and through BitTorrent. It is stated that "It is pretty cool" (that people are already watching Suzumiya Haruhi fansubbed) but recommend/request that fans also buy the DVD (it's the only way to save this plane of existence according to Yuki)."

Well, I'm an Animal Science major and pre-vet, so it's not that uncommon, really. It just feels a bit excessive when I'm spending three eight hour chunks a week doing homework. x_x

Really? Can you tell me what classes you're taking this year? My daughter is completely obsessed with animals, and I want to give her an idea of what she'd need to learn in school if she decides to become a vet (or a biologist).

This semester, I'm taking Chemistry, Biology, and College Algebra. The road to be a vet is tough, LONG hours, but I think it'll be worth it. If she's willing to put in a lot of work and if she likes science--I'd say, go for it! I'd be more than happy to be working with her in several years. :D Just warn her that it's hard, hard work. I mean, I'm only on my second semester of vet pre reqs, and I'm already feeling the pressure.
