Was the same until I read Teamwork by askerian. And because of that now I like Naruto/Sakura and Sasuke/Sakura(...I never ever thought I'd like that pairing). IT'S JUST. IN HER FIC IT'S SO SO CUTE. Part 2 of that fic is better, though!

And yes. Recently. I think. Naruto/Sakura is adorable. I don't know why either.

Oh, no, I don't tend to take my preferred pairings seriously, either, which is why it's amusing. I HATE canon pairings, LOVE threesomes, and have a fondness for WTF/disturbing/dark pairings, though, so I feel like we are on waayyy different ends of the spectrum. I also have a tendency to stay away from het pairings just because I prefer to see diversity, and because I personally don't find heterosexual pairings, uh... attractive? :D;; It also goes well with my dislike for canon. XD


(also, I do have 2 OTP!@!!!111 pairings, but I try to keep the Scary at bay. :( )

That's awesome! I sometimes wish my pairing preferences were more interesting, but...uh, I just tend to fall for stuff that has a canon base, I suppose. WTF/disturbing/dark pairings actually interest me quite a bit, I just don't get into them as much as I'd like. :( Instead, I have a tendency to warp the pairings I do like into weird/dark/obscure stuff, so it's kind of...twisted. Fluff is rarely interesting to me outside of canon. XD;

That's actually kind of awesome that you don't like het and canon pairings. So many people are so intolerant towards non-canon pairings that it's definitely refreshing to see people going outside the box and staying there. I actually could care less as to what the genders of characters involved are--hence, I like just about any type of pairing. To me, it's all about the chemistry between the characters and whether I find their interactions interesting or not, so I can definitely see where you find appeal in alternate/off-the-wall pairings.

So, yeah. In other words, high five from the other end of the spectrum. I absolutely love unusual people like you.

(OTPs are fun unless the batshit insane takes over them! There's totally no way I can see you getting batshit insane over one. Only people who are batshit insane to begin with go batshit insane over pairings. XD;)
