I know if I start watching it, it's going to take a lot of effort for me to stop. And despite the fact that my sleeping habits as of late have, indeed, been very...late-night inclined, shall we say, I'm trying to break the habit now and Monster isn't going to help.

But I want to watch it! ;_; *Wibble*

Today was fun and actually somewhat social for once *GASP*, perhaps because my high school friends are finally getting out of school for the holidays. I woke up at the brainbreakingly early hour of 10:30 AM (STFU--I've been religiously waking up past noon lately. It FELT early, anyway) due to my Dad deciding to drill holes in the wall of my room at that time. Granted, it was for the DSL line so I forgive him, but he should have at least waited for me to wake up.

At around noon-ish, I walked down towards Makayla's road to meet Nicole. It took her a while to show up due to a boom of customers right before she left her job, but in the meantime I amused myself with a puddle. Because I'm easily amused like that.

While Nicole was over, we did astonishing amounts of nothing. Other than looking at wallpapers on my computer and lounging around, but this is in part because she wasn't over for all that long. In his drilling fervor, Dad somehow managed to knock most of my artbooks, manga, and doujinshi on to the floor, and thus I had to rearrange them right away when I got back home lest my obsessive side kick in and cause me to go insane. XD;

Later on, I went to Nicole's and we sat around drawing (she needed help drawing wolves for a project) and talking to her mom for a while. This was lots of fun. Again, though, I didn't get to spend much time there because Mom picked me up not too long after I got there.

At Mom's, it's been as chaotic as ever. The little weird bump on Hana's eye from when she got the corneal scratch sealed suddenly got quite a bit bigger, so we're concerned about that--but when Mom called the vet, she said it wasn't too much of a concern unless it seemed to be hurting her. I hope it's going to be okay--that'll really be too bad if Hana has to have surgery on her eye. ;_; Also, our heater broke, so we had to go to Kmart and buy a little one-room heater. Luckily we have electric blankets and heating pads, so it's not too bad, but still--I feel bad for the animals having to be cold (well, the dogs and cats, anyway--the cockatiels and guinea pigs have heat lamps on them).

Darn it, it's basically already Christmas and I still haven't taken pictures of the ducks with bows on their necks. XD;; Oh well. Insignificant compared to the guilt I feel for not having time to make all those cards in time for Christmas. Every year, Christmas seems to sneak up on me so fast I barely have time to do anything about it.

Aw, Tia's sleeping on the end of my bed right now. Hana was sleeping next to me a little while ago, but she was really conked out so I brought her to her crate to sleep where she belongs.

Tomorrow afternoon, the Christmas fun begins. :D

Now perhaps I will treat myself to ONE Monster episode.

Or maybe two.
