Today, I...uh...
Dec. 10th, 2006 11:04 pmMostly did homework and watched Beck. I finished up my English essay (though it still needs some editing), read some Psychology, and other than that all I did was the usual animal chores and watched Beck.
I'm in nine episodes, and Beck is pretty good so far. I didn't think the first few episodes were very well-organized, and they made me uneasy for some reason (I don't think all the awkward English dialogue helped), but since then, the series has definitely shaped up and become something very enjoyable. Episode five seemed to be the turning point--I liked the scene with Koyuki and Maho in the pool. :) I think the characters are likeable, as they're atypical and interesting, and I also think it's a fairly realistic view of a rock band. I love the theme song, too! I can never bring myself to skip it because I adore the scenes of the characters singing. Never fails to make me smile. Anyway, now comes the challenge of not watching Beck during finals week when I'm supposed to be studying. ^^;;
Hahaha, Dad's friend Dave had some kiddy pools lying around in his yard, so we ended up with them for the ducks. Once the weather is better, maybe I'll fill one of the kiddy pools up and let the ducks go swimming.
I hardly left the house all weekend (if I did at all). O_o;

Date: 2006-12-12 01:23 am (UTC)OMG--I want to go! I ♥ that song, and having a whole bunch of people singing it on stage would be wayyy too fun! I'd love to go to a small Ohio convention with you!
(In exchange, you shall come to several awesome California cons!)
OMG, you have to come to Fanime just to see Evangelion Redeath Redux. I swear, every year it's probably the most hilarious hour of the year. XD;; It's obligatory for the audience to all yell "IT'S GENDOU!" at the screen every time he comes on, and there's one part where Bohemian Rhapsody starts playing and the ENTIRE audience leaps out of their seats and starts headbanging.
...It would totally be a once-in-a-lifetime experience if it weren't for the fact that it happens every year.
