Puppysitting XD;
Dec. 9th, 2006 11:25 pmMom was gone a lot of today visiting Rivi in Placerville, so I was left in charge of puppysitting Hana and taking care of all the other animals, too. So, that's seriously most of what I did today. I took Hana for lots of walks and played with her and watched Meerkat Manor with her. XD;
I'm getting so behind on all the Christmas cards I need to make (two done, out of...lots, and only a few preliminary sketches), and I also have homework/studying tomorrow--so those two activities will probably take up all or most of tomorrow.
Tonight we made cookies (Ryan and I had fun decorating them with silly things like Konoha marks and peace signs and butterflies), put up the Christmas tree for the first time in years (with Mom), and watched AMVs. Mom usually really likes AMVs, but she was tired and ambivalent this time.
I can't wait for finals to be over. I'm going to spend most of my vacation hanging out with friends and attempting to watch massive amounts of anime (Beck, Monster, Scrapped Princess, Tsubasa Chronicle, End of Evangelion, Yami no Matsuei, whatever else I have around...). I also have to scheme and find a way to watch Princess Tutu, as I really really really want to see it... Maybe I can find it for cheap somewhere. We'll see how much anime I actually get time to watch, but I'll do my best.
Darn it, now that it's almost Christmas there's a ton of anime boxsets going on sale (so many series I want for like $30!), but I have no money. ;_; Perhaps I should get a job after all.
It's been raining all day and I love it. ♥
Also, I need to find a pair of red bows because I'm determined to put them on my ducks' necks. They'll look so cuuuute!

Date: 2006-12-11 04:46 am (UTC)My dad is tolerant of anime, but tends to get annoyed with how much I watch it. Oh well--he watches AMVs with me occasionally, too, and he loves anime music, so it's fine. XD;
I've been meaning to see Princess Tutu for aaaages! One of my friends is really into it, and she keeps telling me about it. According to her and everyone else I've heard talk about it, it starts out really weird and hyper and cute, and then ends up being totally twisted and messed-up. Sounds like my type of anime. >D
