Rain and mist!
Nov. 8th, 2006 11:31 pmIt's past my bedtime...again. Oh well.
I had a bunch of bizarre dreams last night, but I only *barely* remember them. I know at one of them Nicole, Cody, KK, and I were at Cody's house doing absolutely nothing. All I remember about what was going on was that it was raining and there was a bright green houseplant somewhere. Nicole had brought--this is beautiful--Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with her, and was clamoring loudly about how we HAD to watch it. XD;; It was...really interesting.
In the other dream, I think was being interviewed by Barbara Walters or someone similar about...I don't know what. Something random I did. Nicole was in this dream, too, along with Dylan, but I don't remember much other than that. I know there was something about this weird place that was like...a floofy, colorful miniature golf course? I don't know, there was rain in this dream, too, and a bridge and a rainbow and...er...I don't remember. Something about animals. Cats? White cats? I don't know.
I took the bus to school today. It was less embarrassing than last time, though, because I purposefully sat far away from all the "bus regulars" because I was more in a mood to ponder the beautiful mist than anything else. Thus, many awkward conversations were avoided. It was masterful.
Psychology was average. Nothing at all outstanding or noteworthy occurred during it.
During lunch, I put up the first SWADA poster in the cafeteria and entrusted Shannon with the rest of them. My friends and I discussed Hotchkiss and his tendency to ramble endlessly about weird things during class (apparently, in Shannon's class at one point he began telling a story about how he had a cat and two turkeys in the back of his car because he found them on the side of the street... WTF? And in Rachel's class, he went from Medea to how to tell the difference between a dairy goat and a meat goat. O_o;).
Statistics was very abstract, but in my opinion was not quite as abstract as the majority of the class believed it to be. It was bearable, and apparently I understand it pretty well--the small amount of homework for this unit I've done so far is definitely bearable.
English was cancelled! Ah, it was glorious. I turned in my paper to Admissions and went out to wait for the bus. As I was waiting for it, Bee, Rachel, and Tyler popped up out of nowhere. I asked Rachel if she was going home (she was), so she ended up giving me a ride home and saving me lots and lots of trouble and time. :D
Once I got home, I walked the dogs, checked on the chickens, walked the dogs some more, read Time magazine, tried to convince myself to do homework (and failed), obsessed on Honey & Clover at random, tried to find icons from Honey & Clover, Ouran (Tamaki!), and Mushishi to use and didn't find any I wanted, obsessed on Honey & Clover more, and...uh. I don't really remember where the day went, to be honest.
Blackberry cobbler is tasty.
The clouds were so incredibly beautiful this evening.
Now I must sleep.

Date: 2006-11-10 05:11 am (UTC)Oh, do scan drawings and send them over e-mail if you want! I'd love to see how you've improved. :D
Thanks for the offer! I'm doing just fine in Statistics, thankfully, and everything else. Chemistry is moving kind of fast lately, but I have an A in it, too, so I think I'll be okay. It's just a matter of not getting distracted from studying by all the amazing anime I've been watching recently.
Have a nice night!

Date: 2006-11-10 05:18 am (UTC)Yeah, speaking of dreams, it started out as one. I don't remember if I told you about it or not, but yeah. It's about two brothers. Ring any bells? Oh well, if you want to know more, just post. I'll be around

Date: 2006-11-10 05:31 am (UTC)I remember that story! Pretty clearly, too--believe it or not. It's awesome, and I'd absolutely love if you did something with it.
Next year's NaNoWriMo might help you get that ball rolling in the right direction. :D Yes, I might be secretly recruiting people to do NaNoWriMo with me next year. What about it? *Whistles innocently*
As a random inquiry, are you planning on going to Fanime and AX next year?
Re: Your dreams
Date: 2006-11-10 06:42 am (UTC)I can definetely scan for you, but my room-mate is sleeping now. I'm sitting outside the University Center (UC for short) having some eggnog latte and checking my messages and such. When my room-mate is sleeping, I feel really bad being awake and doing stuff and listening to music while he is trying to get sleep, so I just leave him be and do my homework elsewhere. With everything so close (since I live on-campus), so the library or the UC are both hardly 20 paces from the exit of my dorm.
Yeah, I have been working on the story... I wrote down some notes on what the characters should look like and wear and what the plot progression should look like. I think I'll paste the notes onto a new reply after this. Tell me where you think I should go from there. I really dig fight choreography and have a bunch of fun ideas set up (some of them can get quite graphic :O ). Anywho, I'm going to get ready for bed. Gnight
