I‘ve been working on homework since I got home from school today. D: Statistics, an essay, and Chemistry. Still haven't finished Chemistry, but at least I got halfway through that work and I'll hopefully be all right for the quiz tomorrow.
I just realized I forgot to share some dreams, so I might as well do that here.
Okay, the first one happened when Shannon was over. Unfortunately, I don't remember it very well.
In the beginning, I was on a carriage going to a big, old, Victorian-style mansion where my "relatives" lived. I think Mom and Dad were with me on and off, but they mostly weren't around. Anyway, it was a pretty formal event, though none of the relatives were people who actually exist, and I think we were supposed to be having some sort of vague holiday celebration while we were there. I was rather unhappy at having to go hang out at this mansion. I was assigned to stay in the attic room. While I was staying there, it came to my attention that a...chimera...thing...was living in the room. I guess it was some sort of horrific experiment between a baby and...uhhh...something else. It actually looked suspiciously like that yellow thing in the toenail fungus commercials. O_o; I'll refer to it as a gremlin, because that's what my dream-self seemed to want to call it.
It was pretty weird and creepy, actually, because I would see it all the time and it kept disrupting my sleep and such, but everyone got really mad at me when I told them about it. Apparently, my dream!cousin (a very floofy, prissy girl) had created it on accident, and now it wanted...something? I don't know, my memories regarding it are fading now, but at some point we were supposed to be having a celebration for a holiday, and Dad and my dream!uncle lectured me about fussing about the gremlin-thing. So they sent me back up to the room, where the gremlin-thing brought out a weird board game with floating silver balls above it. In it, I had some sort of game piece and I had to try to collect the silver balls with my game piece, but it was a maze and there was a magnetic force controlling where my piece could move. The "mazes" were really short and all dead-ends, though, so I don't know what was up with that. It was creepy, though--like my soul relied on winning the game or something.
Switch-of-scenes. As I guess my family was leaving, I ended up in this really dark shed (painted yellow--that I remember) behind the house, where the gremlin-thing had led me. I guess this was where it was created or something, but truth be told now I don't remember what I was doing there. I think I was looking for something to help it leave this realm of existence, but...er, I'm not sure about that.
Dream #2 I had last night. In it, I was jet skiing in a warehouse that was in the ocean. It was half-flooded with water for use as a...swimming area or something? The water was murky slate gray, and I got the feeling that it was about twenty feet deep. The roof went up pretty high, and all the sides were aluminum gray. There was someone giving me jet skiing lessons (an adult, but I don't know who it could have been). At one point, I started going really fast on the jet ski, and as I was doing that, I spotted a shark fin poking out of the water about forty feet away. In the dream's jet ski, my feet were hanging off the edge into the water, so I was concerned that the shark would start paying attention to me because I was going so fast, so I slowed down and turned around, leaving the shark behind me.
When I got back to the shallower (?) end of the warehouse, my Mom popped up to ask "Did you see the shark attacks?"
I said, "No, but I saw the shark."
Then she told me that the shark bit three children. I wasn't overly concerned and--truth be told--kind of wished I had seen it, as it was a once-in-a-lifetime event to witness a shark attack. Um...yeah. That's about it.
On account of waking up in a dream this morning, I was really reeeeeeally tired this morning. I kept almost falling asleep in Psychology class, and then I was really hungry and tired at the same time for some reason. We had a quiz today, which was really easy, and got out of class a little early. (Which was good--I wanted food!)
I got the usual food for lunch and talked to all my friends during my break.
Statistics was a little difficult, but made a fair amount of sense, so...no big deal.
In English, I got to talk about being childfree and how I wholeheartedly support VHEMT (http://www.vhemt.org/, for the curious) in a debate about humanity, nature, and what humanity should do instead of destroying nature as the population increases, so that made me happy. My...er, rather extreme viewpoint was pretty well-received, actually, though, and Hotchkiss said I reminded him of Edward Abbey. XD;; Hooray for being an environmentalist wacko! I was amused. I even got to be interrogated about my mindset and how I envisioned the earth after humans died out. I had a wonderful time! Then Hotchkiss and I somehow got off on a tangent about the intelligence of ravens and seagulls. XD;; The debate woke me up.
Aaaand... Oh, I got my Paranoia Agent package today, which is awesome (and in great shape). I keep playing with the little Maromi beanbag I got with it. It's so...cute? Creepy? Weird? I guess wonderful will have to do.
That's just about my day. Too much homework, seriously. The only way I was able to make the homework bearable was listening to lots and lots and lots of Honey & Clover and Mushishi music.
