Erm. Again, I'm rather lazy and therefore will make this a short entry. @_@

I think a total of three "eventful" things happened today:

1. This is totally random, but when I came back from walking the dogs, there were three gigantic turkey vultures on our lawn for no apparent reason. Two scattered, but one stayed in a tree near the house for about ten minutes while the dogs went into hysterics over it and CC ran under the truck.

2. Shannon came over and got some fur scraps left over from the Akamaru suit (she's going to use the fur for her Hinata costume). It was nice talking to her, though it was somewhat brief because I had to get back to caring for my animals and such. >.>

3. I got a bunch of calls about birds today, all of which I turned down until Becky told me someone up here had a sparrow with a broken leg. I was reluctant to take it, but Becky is hard to say no to and seeing as I have a sparrow and could use the broken leg experience, I decided to take it. Except...um...it's actually a quail. ._.; I wrapped its leg and stuck it with a plush bunny on a heating pad with some food, but I know close to nothing about taking care of quail and now I have the difficult task of finding it a ride to Yuba City ASAP, because Becky has eight quail already. So, I need luck or someone really nice, because Yuba City is about an hour drive away and it's really short notice.

Still need to start Pillows report and AX report, send [livejournal.com profile] hitchi's package, pick up Loveless Vol. 2, and plan for a potential The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya OR Densha Otoko party. With nine birds. And Mom trying to get me to do chores. And being exhausted from waking up no later than 7 AM every morning.
