But I wanted to write! I need to catch up on writing about my boring life!
Oh well... Here's some random surveys I saved up.
What is your alias? Depends what I’m writing for. My old, *old* alias was MistyMew. Yes, feel free to laugh. I was nine when I named myself that. Nowadays I mostly go by Pacific Pikachu online, though for my Naruto and Wolf’s Rain ‘fics I use Rakuen’s Tears.
How did you choose it?
MistyMew - Crawled out of the depths of my immensely creative nine-year-old mind. I believe the thought processes went something like this:
“Wait--I need a name for writing fanfics? I like Mew. Misty is a cool character. OMG, they both start with M! It’s perfect!”
Brilliance like that only comes once in a blue moon.
Pacific Pikachu - This one is more…vague. I’ve always liked the word ‘pacific’. I’ve heard it means ‘peaceful’, which I am. Very much. I live in California, which is near the Pacific (though I live about three hours from it). Japan is in the Pacific. Plus, I just like the word. And I identify with Pikachu in some vague sense. I mean…it’s Pikachu. And again with the double-letter thing.
Rakuen’s Tears - ‘Cause it’s…uh…Wolf’s Rain, and rain is like tears and Rakuen does/doesn’t exist and the wolves cry and there is sadness and pain but Paradise exists because sadness and pain exist to counter happiness and pleasure… *Incomprehensible*
What fandoms do you write for currently? Right now? Only Naruto and Pokémon. Though I had a brilliant idea for a Wolf’s Rain ‘fic or two, and I half-wrote one of them but it was horrendously overwritten and terrible, so now I want to start it over.
What fandoms have you written for in the past? Read above. I think I might have dabbled in other fandoms, but it takes a specific type of series for me to want to ‘fic it. I wrote a RahXephon fanfic for Creative Writing once… I wrote one awful Wolf’s Rain fanfic for the same class. I mostly just stuck with Pokémon, though, until I got into Naruto. Pokémon was my first fandom and it’ll always be my favorite, no matter how much I enjoy Naruto fandom.
What fics are you currently working on?
Third Drawer Down, which is an introspective, psychological angst-thing that spawned out of a random idea I got in the shower. Basically, Naruto is Hokage and married to Sakura, and by all means he should be happy, but he is haunted by the promise he couldn’t keep and by Sasuke’s death. I would say it’s ‘short’, but it’s about six pages and still going, so…uh…yeah. Not that short. It’s better than it sounds, I swear. >.> I’ve had fun writing in Sakura’s perspective, though.
The other one is this bizarre Pokémon ‘fic that’s been bothering me for years now, but I’ve only just gotten to writing it. It’s called Dust and Ashes, and, to cut a long story short and make myself look ridiculous, it’s about this poor Eevee who falls deeply, honestly in love with her trainer. It’s then pretty much about her struggles to deal with this unrequited love and accept that, well, she‘s a Pokémon and he‘s a human, and I’m hoping I can make it really upsetting and emotional.
Because I love angst. >.>
For some reason, some shoujo-ai plot bunnies have been attacking me lately, though. Whether I act on them or not depends on…uh…I don’t know what. It just depends.
What is your deepest darkest fic-writing secret? Well, I was a total fanbrat from ages about 10-13. I wrote these long, awful, egotistical author’s notes, openly bashed characters during the story, and left some rather odd plotholes.
Other than that…ummm…I’m sure I have others but I can’t remember them. ._.;
Do you have any quirks/habits in your writing? Run-on sentences, getting carried away with describing things (I’m getting much, much better about this, but the old habits still resurface from time to time), discussing the character’s eyes too much (“in his eyes…” “her eyes smiled”, “she could tell in his eyes”), expecting the readers to get bizarre metaphors I make, and rambling off-topic. I write nothing but angst, pretty much. Sometimes happyending!angst, but it’s always angst. I work a lot with subtext and symbolism, which is usually fine but sometimes alienates less, um, well-read readers.
Do you have an OTP? Yes, quite a few. Because I have roughly ten billion series I love (and generally several OTPs for each one), I’ll stick only ONLY to the things I write for/may write for someday.
Pokémon: Ash/Misty still rocks. :D Most of my other OTPs for Pokémon are very shifting, so I won’t list any of them. I have this weird, weird, completely unexplained thing for Gary/Ritchie, though. WHY?! It drives me crazy, especially seeing as I don’t really care for either character. It’s just…weird. *Cries*
Naruto: Ahhh, Naruto/Sasuke. My absolute OTP. I love love love Lee/Sakura, Kiba/Hinata, Ino/Sakura, Shikamaru/Temari, and I have a soft spot for Naruto/Hinata, too, though. Other things happen occasionally, too. Like Naruto/Sakura, which I have for some reason grown vaguely fond of.
Wolf’s Rain: Tsume/Toboe, man. I love this pairing so much. I also love Hige/Blue, though. :D
I might write Gankutsuou someday, so in that case, Franz/Albert is ♥.

1. Who is your favourite character from #2 (Cowboy Bebop)?
Probably Spike, but I love Ed and Ein, too. And everyone, really. Cowboy Bebop is one of those series where instead of having a clear favorite, you have this cast of incredibly well-developed, distinct characters, and you love every single one of them for different reasons.
2. Who is your least favourite character from #4 (Naruto)?
Why does this always come up? @_@ Um… I have no idea! It’s Naruto… I’m afraid of hating characters because Kishimoto always ends up redeeming them and making me feel like a terrible person for ever disliking them in the first place. If I absolutely have to pick…um… No, I can’t pick. Nevermind.
3. What would a crossover between #1 (Pokémon) and #5 (Gankutsuou) include?
CRACK. Cool, psychodelic, beautifully animated, “it-makes-my-head-hurt” crack. In fact, my head hurts just trying to work the logistics out here. @_@ Let’s just not go there.
4. Who is your favourite ship from #6? (Last Exile)
Claus/Lavie. It gives me fluff bunnies and makes me so happy, because I adore best friend pairings and they have such a wonderful dynamic. And they’re so cute! I love both of the characters dearly, and together they’re even better. Plus, it’s almost canon. Or maybe it is canon, I don’t know.
5. If you were to set one person from #3 (Wolf’s Rain) and one person from #6 (Last Exile) on a blind date, who would they be?
Wolves + airships = …uh? Um…well, if I’m allowed to put characters together who aren’t of the opposite sex and wouldn’t have any romantic interest in each other, but might make good friends, I suppose Cher and Sophia. I think they’d get along all right. ^^;
6. If you could meet one person from #4 (Naruto) and spend the day with them, who would it be, and what would you do?
I get the sneaking suspicion I’ve answered this question before. Shikamaru, and we’d probably just hang around while I bothered him, and I would probably drag him to weird places and make him do weird things just to see the look on his face. XD; Either that or Naruto, and we’d eat ramen and wreak havoc and have a wonderful time. I think we’d get along pretty well and drive everyone else around us crazy.
7. If you could change one thing about #2's (Cowboy Bebop) plotline, what would it be?
But--but--Cowboy Bebop is a masterpiece! I guess I’d just add some more random episodes, because I miss the crew. And I would have loved to have seen more of Spike’s flashbacks, just because I think the Spike/Julia/Vicious dynamic is really interesting and I would love to have more details on it.
8. Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from #5 (Gankutsuou), and why you like the relationship between them.
Awww…Franz/Albert is just… ;_; I mean, I haven’t even seen the end (though I know some of the spoilers) and it already makes me sad. Franz is such an absolute sweetheart, and he’s so obviously in love with Albert (canonically, too!), but he doesn’t do anything about it because he knows Albert doesn’t love him back, and he just does his best to make sure his best friend is happy at any cost. T_T Awww. It’s so very noble and sad.
9. If the lead title characters from #1 (Pokémon) and #3 (Wolf‘s Rain) were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be?
Well, uh… Seeing as the Wolf’s Rain characters die anyway, and seeing as they’d be reincarnated anyway, I’d probably have the choose the Pokémon cast. I LOVE the Wolf’s Rain cast so very dearly, but you have to think of the big picture, y’know?
10. If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline of #6 (Last Exile), what would the character be like and what would their role be?
Um, Last Exile has enough characters as it is. Though I think it would be funny for there to be some random weird animal on one of the ships (preferably the Silvana) that just shows up in some screenshots and everyone would be like “WTF is that?!” if they happen to spot it and…
I’m really weird, aren’t I?
11. What happens in your favourite episode of #2 (Cowboy Bebop)?
Ohhh, that’s hard. I’m just going to use Hard Luck Woman because that one was just so emotional and brilliant and…*dies*. Basically, Faye finally remembers more of her past, and goes back to her house, only to find it’s been destroyed. She then finds where her room used to be and uses a stick to draw out where her bed was, and she just lies in that square in the sunset. Meanwhile, we’re introduced to Ed’s dad, who Spike and Jet try unsuccessfully to catch as their bounty. Ed and her father are reunited, and he is obviously quite weird, too. He takes off when an asteroid hits the earth, though, because he’s mapping where asteroids hit. Anyway, at the end of the episode, Ed leaves and she leaves Spike a windmill and Ein goes with her, and I totally skipped the incident with the orphanage so I suck. :P Scatterbrained summary, I know. Not to mention it’s totally out of order
12. If you could kill off one of the characters of #1 (Pokémon), who would it be and how would you do it?
You know, despite my feelings way back in fanbratdom towards certain characters, I don’t think anyone in Pokémon needs to die. If I’m going to kill someone in a fanfic, I usually just do it for the ensuing angst or to resolve something in the plot, so in the end, I wouldn’t kill anyone.
13. If you got the chance to visit the set of either #3 (Wolf‘s Rain) or #5 (Gankutsuou), which would you choose?
As much as I absolutely love Wolf’s Rain and its set, I don’t think ANYTHING could beat the beauty of the set of Gankutsuou. I mean…NOTHING.

1. Who is your favourite character from #2 (Cowboy Bebop)?
Probably Spike, but I love Ed and Ein, too. And everyone, really. Cowboy Bebop is one of those series where instead of having a clear favorite, you have this cast of incredibly well-developed, distinct characters, and you love every single one of them for different reasons.
2. Who is your least favourite character from #4 (Naruto)?
Why does this always come up? @_@ Um… I have no idea! It’s Naruto… I’m afraid of hating characters because Kishimoto always ends up redeeming them and making me feel like a terrible person for ever disliking them in the first place. If I absolutely have to pick…um… No, I can’t pick. Nevermind.
3. What would a crossover between #1 (Pokémon) and #5 (Gankutsuou) include?
CRACK. Cool, psychodelic, beautifully animated, “it-makes-my-head-hurt” crack. In fact, my head hurts just trying to work the logistics out here. @_@ Let’s just not go there.
4. Who is your favourite ship from #6? (Last Exile)
Claus/Lavie. It gives me fluff bunnies and makes me so happy, because I adore best friend pairings and they have such a wonderful dynamic. And they’re so cute! I love both of the characters dearly, and together they’re even better. Plus, it’s almost canon. Or maybe it is canon, I don’t know.
5. If you were to set one person from #3 (Wolf’s Rain) and one person from #6 (Last Exile) on a blind date, who would they be?
Wolves + airships = …uh? Um…well, if I’m allowed to put characters together who aren’t of the opposite sex and wouldn’t have any romantic interest in each other, but might make good friends, I suppose Cher and Sophia. I think they’d get along all right. ^^;
6. If you could meet one person from #4 (Naruto) and spend the day with them, who would it be, and what would you do?
I get the sneaking suspicion I’ve answered this question before. Shikamaru, and we’d probably just hang around while I bothered him, and I would probably drag him to weird places and make him do weird things just to see the look on his face. XD; Either that or Naruto, and we’d eat ramen and wreak havoc and have a wonderful time. I think we’d get along pretty well and drive everyone else around us crazy.
7. If you could change one thing about #2's (Cowboy Bebop) plotline, what would it be?
But--but--Cowboy Bebop is a masterpiece! I guess I’d just add some more random episodes, because I miss the crew. And I would have loved to have seen more of Spike’s flashbacks, just because I think the Spike/Julia/Vicious dynamic is really interesting and I would love to have more details on it.
8. Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from #5 (Gankutsuou), and why you like the relationship between them.
Awww…Franz/Albert is just… ;_; I mean, I haven’t even seen the end (though I know some of the spoilers) and it already makes me sad. Franz is such an absolute sweetheart, and he’s so obviously in love with Albert (canonically, too!), but he doesn’t do anything about it because he knows Albert doesn’t love him back, and he just does his best to make sure his best friend is happy at any cost. T_T Awww. It’s so very noble and sad.
9. If the lead title characters from #1 (Pokémon) and #3 (Wolf‘s Rain) were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be?
Well, uh… Seeing as the Wolf’s Rain characters die anyway, and seeing as they’d be reincarnated anyway, I’d probably have the choose the Pokémon cast. I LOVE the Wolf’s Rain cast so very dearly, but you have to think of the big picture, y’know?
10. If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline of #6 (Last Exile), what would the character be like and what would their role be?
Um, Last Exile has enough characters as it is. Though I think it would be funny for there to be some random weird animal on one of the ships (preferably the Silvana) that just shows up in some screenshots and everyone would be like “WTF is that?!” if they happen to spot it and…
I’m really weird, aren’t I?
11. What happens in your favourite episode of #2 (Cowboy Bebop)?
Ohhh, that’s hard. I’m just going to use Hard Luck Woman because that one was just so emotional and brilliant and…*dies*. Basically, Faye finally remembers more of her past, and goes back to her house, only to find it’s been destroyed. She then finds where her room used to be and uses a stick to draw out where her bed was, and she just lies in that square in the sunset. Meanwhile, we’re introduced to Ed’s dad, who Spike and Jet try unsuccessfully to catch as their bounty. Ed and her father are reunited, and he is obviously quite weird, too. He takes off when an asteroid hits the earth, though, because he’s mapping where asteroids hit. Anyway, at the end of the episode, Ed leaves and she leaves Spike a windmill and Ein goes with her, and I totally skipped the incident with the orphanage so I suck. :P Scatterbrained summary, I know. Not to mention it’s totally out of order
12. If you could kill off one of the characters of #1 (Pokémon), who would it be and how would you do it?
You know, despite my feelings way back in fanbratdom towards certain characters, I don’t think anyone in Pokémon needs to die. If I’m going to kill someone in a fanfic, I usually just do it for the ensuing angst or to resolve something in the plot, so in the end, I wouldn’t kill anyone.
13. If you got the chance to visit the set of either #3 (Wolf‘s Rain) or #5 (Gankutsuou), which would you choose?
As much as I absolutely love Wolf’s Rain and its set, I don’t think ANYTHING could beat the beauty of the set of Gankutsuou. I mean…NOTHING.
14. So, I saved the best question for last. If you could date anyone from any of these shows, which show and which person?
…Eh, I’m too lazy to answer this question. I’ve already taken this survey before. :P
