Didn't write for two days because Zoe was over and we were busy being weird and watching anime. My newest (sort of, not quite, but almost) obsession is The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It's terribly adorable and hilarious and...just a lovely series. AND THE ENDING THEME. OMG I AM OBSESSED WITH THE ENDING THEME. We will learn the dance. WE WILL. Zoe and I spent at least three hours yesterday browsing videos on YouTube of mostly random Japanese guys doing the dance. And Gundams, too. It just...I can't express my amusement. Anyway, wonderful series. Love the characters. Love the dance. Love the humor. Even enjoying what appears to be an emerging serious plot. Loved the first episode. Seen all seven episodes that are out. Want MORE.

Senior Project is OVER. This is mostly a good thing, but has tints of unhappiness in it because...well, the presentation went really well, but for whatever reason the synch of the video and audio was completely off when I showed it to the judges. It was very...shameful. ._.; The guy who went after me made a mini-movie out of Halo footage, which in and of itself was not that interesting, but he used Tank! in his video, which made me squee out loud. So, afterwards we had a mini-discussion on favorite anime.

While waiting for my presentation, and while Zoe was waiting for me to finish my presentation, we painted on the art room wall. XD;; I put "O RLY? YA RLY! NO WAI!" on the wall in red paint and a quote from an EXTREMELY BAD Naruto fanfic (the quote was "OI BROTHER,NABEI LA RAPE HIM BOH JIO?YOU FORGOT I LEND YOU MONEY IS IT?NOW LIKE THAT TREAT ME.. KNNZ"). Watching people react to reading this quote has been wonderful. They get this really puzzled look on their faces, like "What kind of crack is this? What does it mean?" Which is, of course, what we want to know. If you have a death wish are bored and wish to read the disturbing/hysterical fanfic, here's the link: http://www.mediaminer.org/fanfic/view_ch.php/57083/173029

When I returned from my presentation, Zoe had painted "FREEK A LEEK tribute" on the wall rather large, so we're creating tributes to awful fanfiction together. It's been beautiful.

We're also watching Wolf's Rain, as Zoe has not seen the whole thing. I, of course, am enjoying it immensely for the 20th time. I swear, I love that series more and more every time I see it. Last four episodes left--that's all. :D

Jacqui watched the three jays for the last two days, hence why I could handle having Zoe over, Senior Project, and everything else going on. I just got them back today, and they're doing well. The two scrub jays are self-feeding now and getting very big and wild (hooray!), and the baby is recovering from his trauma. One of his three airsacs went down, and I'm working on getting the other two away as soon as possible. He's really cute, though. I love his littletiny crest. ♥ Jacqui's husband Chip thinks scrub jay #1 is male, scrub jay #2 is female, and stellar's jay is male. Scrub jay #2 actually feeds the little baby! Is that the cutest thing ever, or what? She actually feeds him! They're not even the same species!

We had Senior Picnic today. I thought this was going to be an awesome party, but...eh. It wasn't good, and it wasn't bad. It was certainly better than going to school, and as a result of having it Zoe and I got to sleep in, but...all we did at the picnic was eat fruit and sit in the shade doing nothing. Oh well. It was nice to spend some time in nature, especially when Zoe and I went on a walk by the stream when we were waiting for mom to pick us up. Very pretty. But...three and a half hours of nothing wasn't very exciting.

It was interesting to note that on Thursday, I actually talked to Kathryn about all my psychological issues during my open seventh period. We commiserated and discussed and supported each other a lot. It was very therapeutic, and at least for now, I really am feeling quite a bit better about everything. It's nice to know we can talk to each other if we need to.

Not much more to say. There was probably other things I wanted to mention, but I've forgotten them by now, so whatever. Here is a quiz.

Haruhi dance all the way, man. And be sure to take videos of it, too, so everyone online can laugh about it. :D That is completely awesome.
