Okay. Let's see. Weird Maaya Sakamoto dream caused me to be very tired all day (whenever I remember my dreams, almost without fail, I am very tired--most likely because I am interrupting REM sleep), but it managed to be all right and even good. Mostly.

First period, I considered working on my character designs for Dust and Ashes...yet again. I think this is my way of making up for the fact that I don't have time at the moment to write the actual fanfic. That's my theory, at least. However, I was too lazy to even hold my pencil, much less actual use it to make coherent drawings, so I listened to the Sousei no Aquarion OSTs. Again. It is really starting to worry me how much I listen to those CDs. It really, really is. But they make me so happy I can't help it. They're like drugs, only better because they're related to Yoko Kanno. Ben, Katie, and I also helped put this GIGANTIC painting on the wall. There is not a lot to say about that.

Government... There are only very rarely interesting things to say about Government. It's...Government. Unless there are debates or something else to catch my attention, it's basically a sit-there-and-doodle-mindlessly class. We took an easy test, then I sat there while everyone else oogled their new Yearbooks. I haven't ordered mine yet, but I've gotten to poke extensive fun of my friends' yearbooks. There are some pretty hysterical pictures in there, let me tell you. XD;; I managed to escape the yearbook for the most part, which is good because that's what I was [semi-] trying to do. Both of the pictures of me were on the Anime Club page, and on one I looked suspiciously like I was doing jazz hands or something. It's pretty wonderfully stupid. XD;

PE was a period of great anger today. Mr. Humphers made a deal with us previously that if we could run a lap and do jumping jacks before he gets to class (he's always late without fail), he would let us go straight into softball. So, we did just that. But, for whatever reason, he was unsatisfied with what we did, so he sent us running and doing jumping jacks, push-ups, and crunches anyway. I don't think this would be as annoying as it was if it wasn't already sweltering hot. He sent my team to the far field, which meant lots of running there, too, especially seeing as I'm an outfielder (we have to run out on the switches, and it's a big field) and I got a home run today, so I was sweating like crazy most of the period. And I don't usually sweat, so this was proof it was really hot. This wouldn't have been so bad if he hadn't excused us ten minutes late. Now, for the record, we have a BIG school. Also for the record, the baseball fields are exactly opposite from the girls' locker rooms. AND HE EXCUSED US TEN MINUTES LATE. So, in addition to the fact that I was already dying of heat stroke and exhausted, I had to RUN to the locker room, change as fast as I could, and then run all the way across the school again to get to the art room.

x.x Sorry 'bout the rant. It was just rather disgruntling.

Lunch was okay. We spent most of it (and fifth period) analyzing the yearbooks and coming up with stupid ways to sign other people's yearbooks. Zoe and I decided we're going to take random pictures from magazines and tape them in other people's yearbooks as our version of signing them.

Sixth, more Senior Project presentations. I told the boy (I would refer to him by his name, Ryan, if it wasn't the same as my brother's) who was in my dream regarding Maaya Sakamoto about it and he was amused. Mackenzie's project was awesome--she was trying to raise awareness about the deaths occurring in Darfur and also raise money to help out all the poor people over there. Very admirable.

I sat around and did doodles of Eevees...yet again...in seventh period.

When we went to Jacqui's to pick up the birds (who are getting very big and rascally, by the way) a lady showed up with what Jacqui identified as another baby scrub jay, so I volunteered to take him. He's still fairly young--still a nestling, when the other two are fledglings, and the poor little thing is having even more problems than the bird before him. :( A lady (luckily, a lady who raised parrots and therefore knew exactly what to do with the little guy) found him on her lawn while the sprinklers were going off, and we theorize he was caught by a cat because he has three rather large, uncomfortable looking airsacs on his body. His feet are also slightly weak and he aspirated some of the water from the sprinklers. So, Jacqui showed me how to pop the airsacs with a needle (though they're not going down as much as they should--he has to go to the vet tomorrow), he's going to need antibiotics, a visit to the vet, and some physical therapy.

Well, when I got home and was feeding him, I noticed he was...darker blue than the other two, and also had a tiny little tuft of feathers on his head, so I called Jacqui to tell her I thought he was maybe a stellar's jay, not a scrub jay. After I called her, I started having severe doubts about this and felt kind of stupid, but when she called back, she said she thinks I'm right and that I really have a natural knack for this whole bird thing. She keeps comparing me to the girl who was the prodigy bird rehabber, even though I don't have as much experience as that girl did, which makes me feel good.

Jacqui's going to be birdsitting the three little birds until Friday after Senior Picnic, so that'll give me a little time to relax and watch some anime, although I'll miss the funny little birds and I'm sure Zoe (who is spending the night tomorrow) will be disappointed she won't get to see them. Maybe she can come over on the weekend and hang out with them.

So, my final Senior Project presentation is tomorrow. I'm mostly not nervous at all, though I'm a little nervous about a) the length of my speech, which I have trouble cutting up, and b) my attire, which is supposed to be "formal". I've decided I'm going to try to get away with much less than formal by wearing "what I'd wear to an anime convention". XD;; Actually, I wouldn't wear several of these things any more due to their widespread nature now, but: a Wolf's Rain shirt, my Kiba plushie, a Naruto headband, neko ears, and a badge from an anime convention. I have to cut the speech up, though! TEH TRAGICAL! I could go on about AMVs for HOURS. I also have to cut my video short. WOE!

I think Zoe and I are going to finish Wolf's Rain tomorrow, provided there is time.

I'm going to go get some food and maybe watch the first episodes of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Maybe is the key word here.

...I want to write my fanfics again! Of course when I can't! T_T
