Gah...I'm seriously bored out of my mind here, and Dad refuses to leave the county because he's sick of driving. Virtually all my friends are out of town (as far as I know, at least), and [as anyone who lives here knows], there is simply nothing interesting to do in this whole county if you don't have your friends to hang out with.

I think I might die of boredom.

Ahhh, good ol' fanficrants. Not only is it oh-so-quotable and amusing, it's also informative and just plain awesome. It's over now. Monk is on. v.v I can't bring myself to like Monk as much because they show you who does the crime at the beginning, though Monk himself is rather amusing. But still. There are two kinds of crime shows: those that focus on the crime and those that focus on the characters. I prefer my crime shows to focus on the crime, dammit, where you get to know the characters only becuse you've been through all those crimes with them.

That, and I ♥ Elliot like nuthin'. :B

My little brother is downright obsessed with Monk, so I admit it's grown on me. But I agree with you--I prefer the crime-centered shows and the seriousness. Monk is fun and entertaining and all, but SVU > Monk because SVU is twisted and interesting and teh cool.

Nope! Me neither! It's just that Elliot and Olivia's relationship is beautifully portrayed, and the crimes they investigate are always so deeply rooted, and that guy in CI annoys me because he's an unrealistic know-it-all, and the girl annoys me because all she does it follow him around and put only the most obvious pieces together, and Munch is TEH SCHNIGGIT!

But I miss Ice-T. v.v

I have yet to see any House. I take it (judging off the caps) that it's good? My Mom was saying she likes it, but she also likes American Idol and basically any romance movie, so I tend to take her opinion with a grain of salt.

It's...amusing. Like, hmm. Remember what I said about crime shows? Same goes with medical shows. House, though, is both. It focuses on a single specific mind-boggling case, but at the same time explores House's...unusual...practice, his past, his leg injury, his addiction to his painkillers...

It's very psychological. ^^ At the same time, though, it can be taken on more basic levels, so I find a lot of morons watch it too. But woe, that's what happens when you air something on primetime. v.v
