The FMA director is going to be at AX! *Dances around randomly* I must decide what I want to get signed... Hmmm...probably my FMA art book.

If you skimped on food and spending, you could seriously go for about $150, total, rooming with people. And you have 'til July to save up.

You should definitely try your best to come! AX is chaos (seeing as it's the biggest anime convention in North America, if not worldwide), but it's beautiful chaos. We'd love to have you along! And if AX is too big of a trip to make, you could always just come with us to Fanime... It's a little smaller and in San Jose instead, but it's just as much fun as AX.
