pacificpikachuI just woke up from this really, really bizarre and long and complicated dream--but it wasn't like your typical dream. It was like a cohesive (if somewhat weird) story, and it was like a manga or something, but it was uber-intense. It reminded me somehow of a mix between Death Note and 20th Century Boys, but I'm not sure how.
It was about this girl who, when she was a teenager, commits this crime with some other kids younger than her. It involved placing a bomb in the shape of a Magic 8 Ball in a building, causing several deaths. I can't really write this out in detail because I barely remember it, and it was very complicated. Anyway, the story follows her the whole time, and it's sort of through her perspective as she slowly goes crazier and crazier about not leaving any evidence behind for the police to find--even 10-20 years after the crime happened. She keeps this stash of wigs and disguises in the woods on this hill, and she somehow learns how to semi-fly to protect herself--but it only hardly works.
I don't know how to describe it, but it was really intense in the way it was told... It was like the whole time, I wanted the dream to end because I couldn't handle the suspense of whether or not she would get caught...
Weeeird dream. It had a really distinctive feel and setting and way it went--which I think is partly why it reminded me of Death Note and 20th Century Boys.
