No entry for yesterday because I was at the Winter Choir Concert and because I insisted on running around and giving people hugs repeatedly afterwards, we didn't get home 'til past ten. Which is bedtime. And I hadn't had dinner yet. And, to top it all off, I thought I had homework. I didn't actually, but I thought I did, so I went all crazy over that. @_@ So LiveJournal was out of the question, and I didn't get to bed until well past 10:35 PM. I didn't fall asleep until midnight, I don't think.

The concert was so much fun, though! I think it made KK sick, though. ;_; Poor KK... I hope she's better in time for the convention on Saturday! T_T The concert's happening again tomorrow (although slightly different), and you know I'm going to be there. I have way too many choir friends to support. :)

Random: I still haven't watched last week's Naruto episode. Granted, it's filler and it doesn't matter and it's actually kind of like a chore to watch it because of that very reason--but I still feel obligated to watch it.

I also have lots of other anime I need to watch sometime soon: Tsubasa Chronicle (from Hitchi), Gunslinger Girl (which Steven gave me yesterday--I'm so happy! I've been wanting to see this show for a while), Yami no Matsuei (from KK, which I've had for months and just...haven't watched, for whatever reason). I also should see End of Evangelion, because I feel deprived over the fact that I haven't seen it.

There are so many anime I need to watch. @_@ I'm trying to watch at least some of virtually everything that has buzz and/or I'm interested in, because I'm determined to be Teh Uber Ultimate Otaku or something like that. Most people already consider me that, but I say there's never enough. I'm just pathetic like that, I suppose.

Today was good. ^_^ I was all happy and such, though it was really hard to get out of bed today. Normally I'm semi-awake at about 6 AM or so (and then I just lie in bed half-sleeping until the alarm goes off), but today I opened my eyes at 6:18 AM, which made it difficult for me to force myself out of bed in twelve minutes.

I got in the car and started listening to the new CDs I burned before the choir concert last night, though, and that made me feel less disgruntled over the lack of warm bed. Oh, Hitchi--I found some really gorgeous Ayumi Hamasaki and Do As Infinity and other songs, so I'll send you a song list when I have time if you're interested. Mom likes the CDs, too. It's really cool that my parents love the music I listen to, especially seeing as it isn't exactly normal music. XD

During Art, I watched some of Samurai X: Trust (I *still* feel guilty calling it that, but I still can't remember the darn Japanese name!). I had forgotten how gorgeous and detailed and well-done it is. O_o; It's funny, because when I first watched it, I remember being disappointed by it somehow, and yet I admire and adore it and think it's extremely good...but at first, I just felt underwhelmed by it. Mr. Baxter was teaching the Freshmen about color today. *Snicker* Mr. Baxter's so awesome--he teaches them all these things that totally boggle their little brains.

I worked all period in Econ on my stock project, and still didn't finish because the school computers are so darn slow. -_-; It's aggravating. Katie and I signed up for the international company project--we were going to start a manga shop in Japan, but the first group who went up there chose Japan. Grr. I'm the Japanophile here, people. >( So we're doing something in Australia. Maybe selling sunscreen to tourists. I hope I can count on Katie--she's a nice girl and really interesting, but not altogether reliable.

PE...eh.

I don't really remember lunch. It was probably funny. It's usually funny. I know Zoe handed out surveys on used books for her Econ class and we were filling them out, but that's all I remember.

Art itself was kind of boring, too, but at least Cody joined us and we had some good laughs. Kathryn created this badly-drawn chibi sumo wrestler named Asumo and was trying to convince Mr. Baxter that it was a deeply moving and affecting conceptual piece. XD Cody was trying to fill out one of Zoe's surveys as "a stupid person who doesn't read" (because he already had filled one out as himself), so he kept putting stuff like "porn" and "foot rubs" on the survey before Zoe mentioned that her teacher would indeed be reading it. XD

We started our Heart of Darkness essays in English. I hate writing essays by hand. I'm such a typist.

Everyone took tests in Anatomy, and I read the newspaper. Not too exciting. Ari started drawing a lioness in my sketchpad, but gave up after she did the eyes. It looked like it was going to be good, too... ;_; Maybe I'll have her finish it tomorrow.

Anime Club was indeed quite successful today. They're still stupid, but we can't really cure that, now can we? The Christmas exchange didn't do so well... Only about eight people brought in their cards like they were supposed to, and therefore most people just plain didn't get cards. Ricky got all excited over Zoe's Loveless card she made for him, though. XD We announced the upcoming cosplay day, ninja exams, and other stuff.

We watched the zombie episode of Samurai Champloo, which everyone else agreed was "totally awesome" and "weird". XD I think those are the best ways to describe that episode. I would have loved to have shown the baseball episode, but because of all the cussing in English, I don't think our supervisor would have been too happy with us.

When we finished that episode, there was still time left over, so I randomly turned on the first episode of Loveless. It was actually received pretty well, too, and of course Ricky was thrilled (to say the least). Kirstin liked it so much that she had me let her borrow the first six episodes tonight (we gave her a ride home after Anime Club).

The rest of the day...

OH! I turned in my stuff for [livejournal.com profile] naruto_wishlist! I'm so excited. It took me forever to turn it in, too, because my Yahoo account was being incredibly dumb about attachments (mostly because of the dial-up), so I ended up using my Gmail account instead. But--YEAH! I'm so proud of myself for finishing everything. I'm pretty sure the deadline just happened because it was on Eastern time.

The rest of the day...um...we brought the guinea pigs inside and were playing with them on the couch for a really long time. ^^ The white one is SO loud--it's hilarious. She squeaks all the time. Mom, Ryan, and I all played with them for at least an hour. I was playing with the birds, too, and feeding Lily excessive amounts of carrots.

Oh, and Mom's friend Alexia is staying over. :/ Bleh. She's nice and all, but I always feel like she's sort of taking advantage of our generosity--she eats our food and hangs around and such. I don't know, I can't really describe the feeling. She's just kind of weird in my opinion. Of course, I of all people shouldn't be making judgments on who is weird and who isn't. XD

Hm... I think that's it. I'm going to go read Plainsong now.

I haven't watched any of the Naruto fillers yet! I'm starting to download them now and I'll watch them... eventually XD I've been watching other stuff (shorter anime) I've been interested in instead. I agree that there's never enough!

The fillers are...lame. But they're somewhat amusing, so I suppose they're all right to watch just for the fun of it. XD

Ack, I have so much anime to catch up on... I know the feeling.
