Being a writer is frustrating!
Dec. 1st, 2005 07:19 pmWhy is it that I'm so inspired the moment I can't write the darn fanfic (IE: bedtime, have to go to school, am in school, am in the car), and then when I have all the time in the world...I don't want to write. >< Why must a writer's mind be so fickle?! It's irritating. I haven't given up on writing the fanfic for tonight, I'm just feeling like my muse is on vacation and wishing it wouldn't strand me like this. I have just over a page and a half...which is virtually nothing considering I've had about a month and a half to work (or not work, in this case) on it.
Today was fine. :P I'm a bit on the warm and sleepy side, but I'm hoping I can wake myself up enough that I feel like writing and not going to sleep. ._.;
I had to get up at 6:10 AM this morning and do some serious hurrying because Mom had to work dayshift today, and had to be at work by 6:45 AM. The hurrying wasn't helped by the fact that my brother is virtually impossible to awaken from sleep before 9 AM, so he made us later than we would have been otherwise. It's been raining pretty much nonstop since I woke up, which is awesome, although the flooding everywhere makes it a bit difficult to navigate.
In fact, pretty much the first thing that happened when I stepped out of the car to go to school was that I stepped in a three-inch-deep puddle. -_-; My socks were wet for the rest of the day.
But I did get to stay for almost all of Chamber Choir today and work on my Conspiracy picture! That was fun, and I was surprised how fast the hour went by. O_o
My TA period...I don't remember much of it. Honestly. Except that I told Jasmine she should draw a waffle instead of the still life. She took this advice to heart and vowed that she would bring a waffle tomorrow for the still lifes (which is a pair of sculptures) to wear on their heads. XD Ben attempted to draw a kickass unicorn, but I think I'm better in this particular genre of art than he is. I threatened that if anyone else is disrespectful enough to turn off another person's music, I'll turn on music in a random obscure language. I intend to go through with this threat if need be.
In Econ, my group gave our presentation. By "our group", I mean I gave it while the other people in the group stood there and nodded. I completely and totally BSed the whole thing, but I'm better at ad-lib than I thought I was, so I think it sounded pretty darn professional. XD In fact, my group called me a "genius" afterwards, which I thought was funny seeing as I thought it all up on the spot.
We won all three of our games in PE today, and this is quite an accomplishment seeing as they were the best teams in the class. Woohoo. I even scored some points. ^^;
Lunch was funny. Near where the choir room is, there's a place in the roof where a virtual waterfall crashes down, and during the course of lunch, four people (mostly friends of mine, actually) went and stood under the waterfall-thing, fully-clothed. They ended up about as sopped as they would be if they went swimming. Not an intelligent choice, but I admire their courage at least. ^^;;
Art was also really funny. I don't remember everything we talked about, but Kathryn and Zoe became entralled with the idea of something they called a Breascalator. ...You're best off not even asking. Anyway, the whole period we were in hysterics and discussing strange, strange things. 'Twas immensely fun, if a tad on the disturbing side. Zoe made a rather in-depth "advertisement" for it on a page in my sketchpad.
English was typical.
Cody and I (KK had something she needed to do during Anatomy, hence why she wasn't present) played around with real bones in Anatomy. XD Mostly arms and hands and clavicles and such. We kept interdigitating with the skeletal hands and whacking people with the arms. It was lots of fun.
I've missed my friends lately because they're so busy with Madrigal Dinner. ;_; I want them baaack! I dunno, I've felt a little distant for the past few days. I think it's just me, though.
Hmmm...not much happened after school. Mom isn't sure if we'll be able to afford the house, but I'm really hoping we will be able to. :/ *Sigh*

Date: 2005-12-03 04:56 am (UTC)Um...no. Our school is huge and ugly and in a certain amount of disrepair, actually. Some of the classrooms are really in terrible shape, although they are in the process of remodeling. And by 'waterfall', I mean just a torrent of water falling off the roof because it was raining so hard. XD It wasn't exciting or anything...
To summarize, the Breascalator is a breast-enhancement device...for men. XD;; Um...you had to be there. XD;; My friends are so odd.
