Granola. I am eating granola.
Aug. 31st, 2005 03:07 pmI've been so lazy lately about writing things. I've been meaning to, but I keep getting distracted by things. :P
Not a great deal going on right now. I have to remember to prepare for the Anime Club tomorrow (meaning drag tons of heavy stuff to school and proceed to carry it around all day). I should probably recharge my DVD player. I need to burn Naruto 1-20 for Nicole to show to Nolan. I need to call Cody.
The horrible Freshman music continues in first period art. Okay, today it wasn't as bad as yesterday... (In which one girl was squealing about her favorite song, which turned out to be a guy screaming in repetition about how he wanted to kill himself, while the same guitar chords repeated endlessly in the background.) But it still needed improvement. I was going to go change the music to something like E Nomine or, y'know, anything Yoko Kanno in general, but I didn't have the heart to crush the happiness of the poor freshmen, because they seemed to enjoy their awful music. And Rachel and I were cutting paper for Mr. Baxter and discussing the horrors of Man-Faye and mpreg.
Econ was...interesting. We played this business simulation thing where we played a game. Much backstabbing and manipulation of teammates and everyone alike commenced. I lost. Miserably. In fact, I had -$36. It was kind of depressing.
In PE, Mr. Humphers made us run eight laps today. >< I haaate PE. Anyway, then we played basketball, which was almost as miserable as running. Our team SUCKS, and to add insult to injury, the best guy on our team is gone, which makes us even more hopelessly incompetent. Needless to say, we lost both of our games. Chloe and I talked about shounen-ai, though. :3 And, for some unknown reason, every single day in PE I get L'arc~En~Ciel songs stuck in my head. It's weird.
Lunch was fun. I was attempting to bribe KK and Kirstin into marrying me, but KK refused. I might've won Kirstin over--I'll have to propose to her again tomorrow. XD;; Makayla is a wonderful person, and she bought me a juice because I didn't like the one I had. XD Zoe made more awesome Anime Club posters.
Everything else was typical. Mom drove me home. That's all. I need to call Cody. I'm rather obsessed with Cody. >.> And do this meme from
placetohide:
Look at your LJ "interests" list. If you have fewer than 50 interests, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em.
Ack, I have 137 interests (although many of those are just specific characters or restating the same interest in different ways)... This might take a while. @_@ AUGH, and I have to add Fullmetal Alchemist and Ed and such after I do this, so it'll be skewed. Oh well.
Anime Soundtracks- Okay, I'm clearly obsessed with anime soundtracks. More specifically, Yoko Kanno soundtracks, but almost all anime soundtracks that are good in my opinion are likely to be obsessed on. I memorize anime songs more than is healthy, I learn all about the songs, and...anime songs are just so wonderful. Some make me laugh, some make me want to cry, some give me shivers, incredible visuals, make me feel like life is the greatest thing ever... Anime soundtracks really, really move me.
Claus Valca- XD; From Last Exile, in case you were wondering. Well, I just really like his character. I can identify with him, I admire his determination, and overall I think he's a great, well-rounded character. He's also adorable, and if he was real I think we'd get along excellently, but that's beside the point. :P When I met Range Murata (the Last Exile character designer) the first time (I've met him twice), I had him do a quick little sketch of Claus for me. It's quick and done in orange sharpie, but I still prize it.
Fan Art- While I am an artist, I think even moreso I am a fanartist. I enjoy drawing other people's characters more than I enjoy drawing my own, to be honest. There's something that is endlessly fun to me about drawing anime characters I adore, and...well, I don't think that'll ever change. I also LOVE looking at and saving other peoples' fan art and archiving it away. I've been drawing fan art since I got into Pokémon all those years ago, and I just love it.
Ghosts- I'm fascinated by the paranormal, and I think of all paranormal phenomena, ghosts are my favorite (although I think it's possible reincarnation beats them). I don't mean typical ghosts, or even typical spirits--just odd, spiritual things are a big thing to me. This isn't helped by the fact that I've had a number of paranormal experiences throughout the years, that have convinced me at least *something* is up. What that is, I don't know, but nonetheless, ghosts and hauntings are something I'm very interested in. It is worthy to note, however, that I'm very skeptical, and only believe in ghost stories if there is reason to believe them. :P
J-rock- 'Cause it's cool. :D Need I say more? I mean, it's J-rock. There's not much to explain. @_@
Last Exile- Ha, Last Exile again. XD; Last Exile is up there with my absolute favorite anime series of all time. It's got everything--a wonderful, complex, meaningful plot, loveable and varied characters that break stereotypes, stunning animation, gorgeous music, emotional impact...everything. *_* It's so intriguing and unique. Absolutely beautiful. I'd recommend it to EVEYONE.
Movies- Oh, c'mon. Why wouldn't I like movies? XD Movies are practically my alternate reality, if they're good enough.
Otaku- Because I am one, I love/am amused by/have fun with otaku culture more than anything, and I'm proud of being an otaku, dammit. :P Otaku rule, and they're one of the only groups of people I can think of who enjoy making fun of themselves. We're such goofballs.
Pokéshipping- 'Tis a wonderful pairing. Probably my favorite pairing of all time, in fact. It even beats SasuNaru! :O I'll always have a soft spot for it, for some reason, and I've probably read more Satoshi/Kasumi fanfiction than almost anyone living right now. It just...makes me happy. :3
Rock Lee- How could anyone not love Lee-kun? He's such an admirable character, no matter what everyone thinks of him when they first see him. He's so incredibly devoted, determined, and sweet--you have to love him! He's great. :D
Shipping- Because making pairings makes the world go around! I love pairing characters. I like looking at the psychological side of pairing those particular characters. I love reading fanfics about them, doing fanart, discussing, debating... Shipping is fun!
The Last Unicorn- A book that really, really deeply touched me, for some reason. In fact, I'd say it's my favorite book--with possible competition from Watership Down. It's such a bittersweet, meaningful story, and I do believe it is the most beautifully written piece of writing I have ever laid my eyes on. So symbolic, filled with passages of great truth, and, to me, it really put a lot of things in perspective. It changed me, what can I say?
Wild burros- They're so cute! I love my Chester. *Hugs him*
Well, that's all for now... I need to add more things to my interests list now. >.> I wish I had done that beforehand...

Date: 2005-08-31 11:46 pm (UTC)Yeah, anyway, sounds like you had an intersting day, I just needed to say this:
I really really care about you. A lot, but I'm just not ready for that in our relationship. I'm too young to get married, and I want to live my life before I make such an important decision also, I'd really like to focus on my career. Maybe the two of us should take a break for awhile and see what it's like being apart, and maybe seeing new people...
Oh yeah, I'm coming over tomorrow BTW. How's that for breaking?
Well, that's okay, 'cause I already know you're cheating on me with both Nicole AND Cody (You even admitted being obbsessed in this thing) *Cackle*
*Ahem*
Anyway.

...I'm heartbroken. ;_; But we'll have to see... I'll break you somehow. I will marry you. >D
Yes, you are coming over tomorrow.
I'm not just cheating on you with Nicole and Cody, y'know... There are lots of other people, too. But don't take it personally--they're just my other husbands and wives. You know they're not a threat to our relationship. XD
