Today is sort of my last day of summer... I mean, there's tomorrow, too, but that'll be mainly devoted to doing book reports and such.

I watched the end of Last Exile and the first four episodes of Paranoia Agent again today with Zoe. This was fun, and reminded me of how much I love both of those series.

I don't think I give Last Exile enough obsession time. o_o (Though...heh...I spent $45 on the artbook, I have a doujin from it, a plushie, the whole series on DVD, I've met the director, character designer, and concept designer, along with the CEO of GONZO, I have a sketch of Claus from Range Murata...etc.) I need to do a fanart from it at some point, especially seeing as I love Claus so much. ;_;

Zoe has definitely become much more tolerant towards SasuNaru. I mean, heck, she was looking at my doujinshi with me! Yay! ♥

Zoe and I are going to make the Anime Club awesome this year hopefully, so any of my "real life" friends who are reading this--we would LOVE it if you would help us organize it and attend the meetings when you can. We especially want artists and such, because we're thinking of doing drawing lessons, and the more "tutors" the better.

When Zoe went home, I ended up in a big Naruto discussion on the phone with Roya. I'm currently burning her Naruto episodes, seeing as she's going off to college in two days.

Anyway...um...I really am feeling indifferent at the moment. I kind of want to draw, but I don't know what I want to draw. Meh.

I could, if it made sense and it was officially cannon. As if Naruto would pounce on Sasuke and make sweet love to each other, or kiss intentionally, or things like that. Otherwise, I only regard SasuNaru as a fanbase pairing. I could enjoy it only if people didn't take it as seriously...if you know what I mean?

It does make sense, though. o_o Not so much of an opinion as an accepted fact in the Naruto fandom... Most people, regardless of how they personally feel on SasuNaru, grudgingly admit that it is, if nothing else, reasonable.

The good thing, in my opinion, about SasuNaru is that it is serious. It is deep, it fulfills both characters involved, it does not require OOC-ness... It just works.

Right, for SasuSake or NaruHina, it would require LOTS of charcter bending. Like they'd have to turn Naruto or Sasuke into total saps for it to work (Although, admittedly, both pairings are cannon in a one-sided sort of way). NaruSaku, I think would work without too much OOC-ness, but I'm not particularly fond of it, and it's a LOT less likely than either of the aforementioned. However if you look at SasuNaru, it can work in a sort of angry hate/love-sex kind of way, and can keep both their character's baisically intact. Also, the two of them care about eachother and... "long" for eachother (in a way) more than most romantic and heterosexual couples do, they just don't have the physical attachment. But then again they're 12. Give them a bit of time (Although I also believe Naruto's pretty damn straight)... In any case, what I'm getting at is that the characteristics of romantic couples are there. The only factor left out is the physical attachment... And that can be credited to the fact that they are, indeed, 12.

...Or maybe you just have to see it right. Like, tilt your head a certain way... Or something.

I dunno, I think it's pretty cannon. They have the dynamic hate-sex/rival-ish relationship that I'm so fond of. And well, I think it's there because, hey, Kishimoto SAID it was there... So, eh-heh.

Anyway, sorry to turn this into a debate forum, I just don't think I've had a chance to debate Roya on this and I'd really like to... But... She's leaving...

Agreed. KK, next time we see Roya, we need to have a team debate with her. We agree on just about everything about SasuNaru, and we can make points the other person wouldn't think of.

Well, some of them do, though not consistently. If a female voice with a foreign area code asks for Hitchi, my parents will know it's you (or they should), and they'll be like, "It's Kristin...from California!" (I don't know why they add California, but I can just hear them saying that. My family is just like that. XD) I also got a cell phone, but my parents don't want my friends calling me on it yet, at least until we get some things ironed out. They say to use my landline first, anyhow, which you have. XD

I was thinking of calling you tomorrow for your opinion about a problem that doesn't actually exist. XD So much for that. XD But I might, anyhow.

Ohhh, don't expect to see the SasuNaru for a very, very, very long time. I honestly didn't support it even slightly until episode 132-134. There are teensy hints, but they don't hold up unless you have the large evidence that is in those episodes I mentioned before. :) I'm not a delusional fangirl, I swear!

The kiss was just silly, and doesn't count as a hint. XD Sakura's reaction WAS hilarious, though. As was both of theirs. ^^

Two years, eh? That's good to know! ^^ I've been writing fanfiction for...more than six years, and reading it for more than eight, so I'm a bit of a veteran. XD;

I'll try to, though I'm going back to school tomorrow, and that'll probably end up sapping away most of my time (unfortunately). I mean, I'll be a busy Senior, I'm president of the Anime Club, I'm taking Japanese courses on the side... If I'm able to, I will, though!
