*Mumblegrumble*
Aug. 15th, 2005 06:43 pmEverybody's posting this, so I might as well do it, too. *Hisses at peer pressure*
1. Reply with your name and I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie/book/fictional character/SOMETHING reminds me of you.
3. I'll pick a flavor of pudding to wrestle with you in.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me. Well, maybe just me.
5. I'll tell you my favorite memory of you, should I have one yet.
6. I'll tell you what animal or plant you remind me of.
7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal. You MUST. It is written.
I'll do it if you reply. -_-;
Today is sort of my last day of summer... I mean, there's tomorrow, too, but that'll be mainly devoted to doing book reports and such.
I watched the end of Last Exile and the first four episodes of Paranoia Agent again today with Zoe. This was fun, and reminded me of how much I love both of those series.
I don't think I give Last Exile enough obsession time. o_o (Though...heh...I spent $45 on the artbook, I have a doujin from it, a plushie, the whole series on DVD, I've met the director, character designer, and concept designer, along with the CEO of GONZO, I have a sketch of Claus from Range Murata...etc.) I need to do a fanart from it at some point, especially seeing as I love Claus so much. ;_;
Zoe has definitely become much more tolerant towards SasuNaru. I mean, heck, she was looking at my doujinshi with me! Yay! ♥
Zoe and I are going to make the Anime Club awesome this year hopefully, so any of my "real life" friends who are reading this--we would LOVE it if you would help us organize it and attend the meetings when you can. We especially want artists and such, because we're thinking of doing drawing lessons, and the more "tutors" the better.
When Zoe went home, I ended up in a big Naruto discussion on the phone with Roya. I'm currently burning her Naruto episodes, seeing as she's going off to college in two days.
Anyway...um...I really am feeling indifferent at the moment. I kind of want to draw, but I don't know what I want to draw. Meh.

Date: 2005-08-16 02:09 am (UTC)And *HUGS* I'm sorry for those icky end-of-summer feelings. D: They suck, they really, really do.
I also need to see Last Exile.

Date: 2005-08-16 02:34 am (UTC)1. Wah, reunited by Wolf's Rain! Who would've thought?
2. AIM reminds me of you, for some stupid reason. I suppose that's because that's mainly where we talked. And...Arcanine, for some reason? I know that's random, but it does. XD;
3. Strawberry banana? Again, I don't know why. My mind makes bizarre associations, so most of these are going to be uber-nonsensical.
4. Wah,
RakuenAX next year! Definitely!5. I think it is SO ironic that we met up again on the Wolf's Rain community. Seriously, what are the chances? It was awesome finding you again.
6. A playful gray kitty. :D
7. What fandom would you consider yourself most obsessed with, right now? I'm curious.
8. You're not required to post this if you don't want to.
Ah, the end-of-summer feelings are making me sad. Normally by this time of summer, I'm sick of summer and want to go back to school, but this time I feel that the fun has just begun. >

Date: 2005-08-16 02:43 am (UTC)Eh, I might as well do the thing for you. Meh.
1. Wah, fanfic buddy! *Hug* I'm so happy to have you as a friend. You rock.
2. SasuNaru reminds me of you. Simply because that is our most frequent topic of discussion, and you (in part) convinced me to give it a chance.
3. Shounen-ai flavored!
4. I honestly swear that I do not possess any smut. I give you permission to search all of my possessions, hidden and not. XD; Do I even have any hidden possessions? *Thinks* No.
5. We have a lot of excellent memories, so I'll just have to pick one that happens to come to my head. Hmmm... That was pretty funny trying to justify KakaIru at three in the morning and getting all nostalgic over any fanart that had visible breath.
6. You remind me of...a Watership Down rabbit on caffeine. Or something. XD;
7. Will you please start drawing again? It'll be so much fun! Please? Really, please?

Date: 2005-08-16 05:59 am (UTC)Dammit, I wanted to get over to nevada city tomorrow and have a "it's the last fucking day of summer" party with all you guys or something. But life's a bitch... Grrr.
I'll call you tomorrow or something. If I can convince my mother.
Loves.

Date: 2005-08-16 04:50 pm (UTC)You *really* don't have to do it, though. Honestly. Only if you want to.
I wanted a party, too, but I can't because of my damn book reports... Grrr x2.
I'll see you at school tomorrow probably, remember?

Date: 2005-08-16 02:24 am (UTC)I want to draw with you right now. Dx
And plus, I was thinking of dominating the anime club a year or two ago. But my clubs got too overwhelming. But if I were a Senior this year I would of totally BEEN A COOL TYRANT of that club. I wish you all luck though. ♥

Date: 2005-08-16 02:56 am (UTC)I want to draw with you! Anytime, really. I need more drawing buddies. Most of my friends don't feel like drawing when I'm around them...
Ha, you wouldn't be tyrant compared to me. I make a better tyrant than you'd think. XD;; When I talk, those fanboys LISTEN, dammit!
1. Wahahaha...you and I have such entertaining conversations. I'll argue you on SasuNaru any day of the week. >D
2. You remind me of...cosplaying in general, for some reason.
3. Mmm, yes. Uke-flavored. XD;; Although, the idea of uke-flavored pudding is kind of creeping me out. X_x;
4. The power of SasuNaru will always triumph over...whatever pairing it is you're trying to make a case for. *Holds up a golden SasuNaru statue she...er...used alchemy to create*
5. I dunno... There are lots of funny memories to choose from. I loved the Fanime moment when we were tormenting you about yaoi and you stormed off, claiming that you were going to stick your tongue in the first male head you found. And the whole SasuNaru debate was lots of fun, too.
6. A Thoroughbred horse, I think.
7. Do you think you could ever come to grips with SasuNaru? Like, to the point where you could even almost enjoy it, or at least acknowledge it in a somewhat positive fashion?

Date: 2005-08-16 03:32 am (UTC)The good thing, in my opinion, about SasuNaru is that it is serious. It is deep, it fulfills both characters involved, it does not require OOC-ness... It just works.

Date: 2005-08-16 06:12 am (UTC)...Or maybe you just have to see it right. Like, tilt your head a certain way... Or something.
I dunno, I think it's pretty cannon. They have the dynamic hate-sex/rival-ish relationship that I'm so fond of. And well, I think it's there because, hey, Kishimoto SAID it was there... So, eh-heh.
Anyway, sorry to turn this into a debate forum, I just don't think I've had a chance to debate Roya on this and I'd really like to... But... She's leaving...
I'll miss you Roya!! :'(

3. Pocky, like you said!
4. Disturbing Kelsey was priceless. I think we've traumatized her for life. XD; And read Gravitation and Naruto! Right NOW!
5. Oh, just all the fun shounen-ai conversations in Creative Writing. Tripping over that darn metal thing on the way to US History, and you lying to me about that. XD; Disturbing McD and Kelsey.
6. A kiwi bird.
7. Have you written anything lately that you want me to read?

Date: 2005-08-16 04:49 pm (UTC)The metal thing... I'll have to watch out for that this year. A kiwi bird was the only thing I could think of. XD;;
Okay! Send it whenever. And I'm SO HAPPY you're reading Naruto! Good luck on your assessment tests!

Date: 2005-08-16 03:18 am (UTC)2. You still remind me of Eevee, because of your sig so long ago.
3. How does strawberry sound?
4. PIKACHU SPORK LOVE!
5. I can't even pinpoint a specific one. XD It's so much fun talking to you on the phone, though! We've had a lot of great conversations, and I know we'll have tons more in the future. :D
6. An Eevee, and anything you've had as an icon. ^^;
7. I'm not going to ask anything deep at the minute, but I have to ask this once again-- If I answer the phone, and ask for Hitchi, they won't be weirded out or anything, right? Like, do your IRL friends all refer to you as Hitchi?
no subject
Date: 2005-08-16 03:58 am (UTC)Well, some of them do, though not consistently. If a female voice with a foreign area code asks for Hitchi, my parents will know it's you (or they should), and they'll be like, "It's Kristin...from California!" (I don't know why they add California, but I can just hear them saying that. My family is just like that. XD) I also got a cell phone, but my parents don't want my friends calling me on it yet, at least until we get some things ironed out. They say to use my landline first, anyhow, which you have. XD
I was thinking of calling you tomorrow for your opinion about a problem that doesn't actually exist. XD So much for that. XD But I might, anyhow.

Date: 2005-08-16 04:42 pm (UTC)Okay! That's good to know, just so I don't feel odd if I feel like calling. You can call any time! I'm at my Dad's this week, and I'll mostly be around, although I am starting school tomorrow.
That'll be cool when you can use your cell phone! You're welcome to call... It would probably be nice for you to call as a cheer-up for back-to-school.
Ah, I have to read your new entries before I start my book reports.

Date: 2005-08-16 03:26 am (UTC)The kiss was just silly, and doesn't count as a hint. XD Sakura's reaction WAS hilarious, though. As was both of theirs. ^^
1. Bulbagarden rocks! And I'm so proud that you've started Naruto. :)
2. You remind me of...a grass pokémon. I don't know why. Something nice and mild-mannered, like Bellossom or something.
3. Vanilla?
4. Do we have any in-jokes? I can't think of any at the moment.
5. I'm just happy that you hunted me down and post on my journal... It's cool that you have interest in my LiveJournal, and I kind of feel bad because I don't comment in yours. ;_;
6. Like I said earlier, a nice grass Pokémon. :)
7. How long have you been writing fanfiction?
Random: I love your "Say no to idiots" banner on your user info. That's beautiful. XD

Date: 2005-08-16 04:45 pm (UTC)I'll try to, though I'm going back to school tomorrow, and that'll probably end up sapping away most of my time (unfortunately). I mean, I'll be a busy Senior, I'm president of the Anime Club, I'm taking Japanese courses on the side... If I'm able to, I will, though!
