*Murders Health*
Jul. 22nd, 2005 03:27 pm...I am just about reading to kill my Health course. Okay, I only have four chapters left. I can make it! I KNOW I CAN! My hand hurts majorly from writing all the answers. ;_; I have to have the course done by Tuesday, including all the tests.
Ah, yesterday turned out fun. :D I started writing the Sasuke-birthday-present-fic, and I got really into writing that. It's in second-person, which I've never written before, and it's kind of fascinating using such a different writing style. For some reason, although I only have two and a half pages done, I got *really* into the story and started feeling for the characters a bit too much... In fact, I became downright depressed. The funny thing is, now that I look over it, it's not that depressing at all. XD;; I guess I just got too into it.
Anyway, at some point the angst started building up in my mind and I couldn't concentrate properly (I kept falling out of both the second-person POV *and* present tense), so I determined I should probably stop. I did, and started calling people to try to cheer myself up. No one answered for quite a while. ;_; I went back to the 'fic, discovered again that my concentration was broken, and finally got ahold of Nicole to talk to. We talked for a little while, and then I got into reading fanfics in an attempt to inspire myself to finish my own little fanfic.
Rosie called at some point and was trying to get me to come to Pioneer Park with her to play frisbee, but at that moment in time, I was rather absorbed in my fanfiction world and did not feel like being disturbed. Later, Nicole called me and said to come, and then Makayla, so finally I decided I didn't feel like reading fanfics anymore, so I left off into the humidity to Pioneer Park.
I located Rosie, Nicole, Makayla, and Nollin sitting in a circle in the field, and we were all just sitting there for a while. Nollin, Nicole, and Makayla took off for about forty-five minutes to do something involving grocery shopping for his mom, and meanwhile Rosie and I sat there and talked about movies and dumb jokes. XD Other people showed up, and eventually (after about an hour) we accumulated around eight people. We were going to play Ultimate Frisbee, but that never worked out, so Makayla and I just ended up hitting around badminton birdies with tennis rackets and trying to apply this to Naruto. XD;;
There was also much throwing of daisy chains, Makayla and I playing "Catch Flies with a Badminton Birdie" (I caught the only fly, and he buzzed around a lot until he escaped XD), and...um...stuff.
Everyone except Nicole, Makayla, and I eventually left, and when they did we headed up to the playground, where Nicole and Makayla starting playing on the swings. Somehow, our conversation followed these subjects:
- Would you be scared to be around Gaara?
- Gaara is cute!
- Orochimaru has good taste in guys. XD;;
- Is Kabuto cool or evil? Or just both?
- Makayla likes evil guys
- Makayla starts going on about Vicious (from Cowboy Bebop, of course)
- Nicole argues that Vicious is stupid, Spike is better
- They argue about this for a long time (XD)
- Nicole contends that Vicious is like all the of the Fushigi Yuugi characters combined (WTF?!)
- Somehow Makayla's obsession with Yuu Watase and Ultimate Boyfriend come into this
- Back to Spike and Vicious (for a long time)
- At some point (as we were leaving Pioneer Park), it became a discussion of how funny it would be to read yaoi in a church. >D
So, we walked to Makayla's house, where I gathered some stuff she had borrowed from me, got the computer cord (yayyy, I now have my AX pictures on my computer!), and sat on her bed for a while listening to AMV music. I started teaching Makayla some katakana and hiragana, but kept forgetting my English alphabet. I don't remember what we did exactly.
We're thinking that--for the next anime convention we go to--we're going to set up a ramen stand and call it Ichiraku Ramen. We'll charge a certain amount for ramen, which we would make with supplies we'd bring. We decided that those cosplaying as Naruto characters would get a discount, and actual Narutos would get it free. X3 I think it'd be awesome, but we'd have to figure out some things before we actual consider this a serious plan.
Makayla's dad gave Nicole and I rides home, and when I got home I...uh...I don't know. I did something. Then I did Health, and went to sleep.
Today I've spent most of the day on Health, so there's not much to say about that...
I *MUST* write my AX report sometime soon! I've just been so busy with all the courses I'm doing over the summer and everything that I haven't had the time... I feel awful that I haven't done it yet, though. ;_; At least I have virtually everything I did jotted down in a notebook, so I can't forget any of it. I also have my AX pictures to post...eventually.

*ahem* Sounds like you had a jolly good time. I can't wait to see you... In, like, two days or something.
You'll hear from me before then though ;)
-K
Oh yeah, I wanna Beta your fic when you're done... Send it to me whenever.
...Second person POV is so fun/hard to write in. When I was here, I actually was inspired to write an objective 2nd person POV naruto fic... Which turned out very bizzare. Maybe I'll let you read it one day.
Lovvvvves!

Date: 2005-07-23 01:52 am (UTC)Call me (I'll be at my Mom's) whenever you get back/feel like it. XD I would say right when you arrive, but I understand that you'll probably be tired/hungry/dying, and therefore I won't.
You'll be welcome to beta my fanfic once I finish it... It's just a short little one-shot, and now that I'm not all wrapped up in writing it, I feel sort of "Meh" about it. I will be posting it on Sasuke's birthday regardless of how I feel about it, though. I can go back and edit once you've beta-ed and all that.
I'm also not sure how SasuNaru it really is. I think it's more Team Seven bonds in general. XD My next one (the one I was talking about with you) won't be that way, though. *Evil cackle*
Second person is, indeed, baffling and fun. I might try it again sometime, too. I don't think I could keep it going for longer than just a one-shot, though.
You should show me this fanfic of yours! It sounds fascinating. I like bizarre.
