Ah, today was a nice day. ^_^ Kind of different, which is generally a good thing.

Right before I woke up, I had a lovely dream. Not all that funny, but fun nonethless. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Here's what I remember of it.

Naruto, Shikamaru (in his Chuunin vest), Temari, and I were journeying...somewhere. Anyway, we were on these rope birdges that stretched over about the seventy-five feet between pillars of earth. On top of each pillar of earth, there was grass growing and it was a good place to stop and rest in between the wooden/rope bridges.

Naruto, as usual, was up in front and genki, and he kept yelling encouragement and "Hurry up!"-types of things, and every now and then he would turn around to look at us. He had a big green backpack, but he was the only one with any sort of supplies at all. Behind Naruto, Shikamaru was strolling casually. He was about twenty five feet ahead of me. Behind me was Temari.

Shikamaru did something brilliant that won praise from Naruto, but I can't remember what it was.

The rope bridges stretched on for miles, leading to a cliff-type thing eventually. Below us, it was hazy and I don't know what was beneath that fog. The sky was light and kind of beige (not blue at all)--kind of insipid--and I got the impression it was early morning.

All the sudden, Temari stopped and was sitting on the bridge. Shikamaru, Naruto, and I turned around to make sure she was okay. Apparently, both of her femur bones cracked and she didn't think she could stand up. Regardless, she was calm and didn't seem to be in any pain.

Shikamaru suddenly took some safety pins out of his pocket and started linking them together. He made two of these, each of which was about six inches long. He attached one side of each of the safety-pin chains to her skirt, and the other end to her mesh stockings. Temari thanked him and got up, totally fine. Naruto and I kept praising Shikamaru for his ingeniusness.

Soon our little traveling party reached what I presume to be our destination, which was that cliff-thing. We stood on the cliff-thing, catching our breath and recovering for a minute, and soon we discovered a hole in the cliff that was the entrance to a cave. We went in it, only to find...

We were in Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire! XD All the sudden we were pixely and we were walking around in a square cave, complete with the music from Mt. Moon in R/B/Y playing. Two kids, also pixely and such, came up to the four of us and asked if we could find their parents. Shikamaru and I decided to take the mission on. We went into this overhang-door and emerged in another part of the cave.

About halfway through this room, the graphics changed to the graphics in R/B/Y. We were witnessing a part of the past. O_o; The two parents we were searching for were doing some sort of a magical ritual to summon Mew. Everything was a twilight blue. There was a sparkle in the middle of the room, and that's all I remember of the dream.

Let's see...listened to choir in the morning, did nothing but discuss shounen-ai in first period (Rae was telling me about her apparently very OOC Harry Potter slash XD), and I was talking about SasuNaru...again. I think the fact I was trying to deny that it is, indeed, visually pleasing, has made it worse. XD Like I said, I'm no more obsessed with it than I am with some other random Naruto pairings, but I do like it. ^^;;

USHistory...more Schindler's List. More depressingness. The movie is really hard to watch at times because it's so upsetting, and this is coming from someone who watches violent and horrible anime all the time and doesn't blink an eye. With Schindler's List, the fact that it was once true makes it so...ugh... Painful.

In Anatomy, Erin and I got to go outside and work on worksheets, and the weather was really nice. Not that I got anything done...but what else is new?

TA Period...meh, normal. Did a LOT of deliveries. Lots of people were absent. Walked into the wrong classroom at one point. XD

I spent lunch in the art room because the choir had 4th lunch. Zoe and Ciera were freaking out because their Fanime hotel reservations weren't working out, and they didn't want to tell Roya for fear of stressing her out. She still doesn't know. I reassured them, tried to figure out alternate plans, and drew a wolf. I realized in the middle of seventh period that I forgot to eat lunch because I was so busy. At one point, Ciera even went out of the art room and called the hotel herself on her cell phone. o_o The guy was a jerk to her and said they were sold out.

Em and Nicole showed up partway through, and we got in the dumbest, funniest argument ever. I have not idea how we got to this point, but...

"Your yaoi is stupid!"
"Oh, yeah? Well, your yaoi is retarded!"
"Really now? Well...well...your yaoi is GAY!"
*Everyone cracks up*
*Gasp* "You LIE! My yaoi is SO not gay!"
"Yeah, because your yaoi is STRAIGHT!"
*Collective gasp* "NO! Take it back! That's horrible! My yaoi is bi." ;_;
"...typical excuse." *Mumblegrumble*

It was hilarious. XD I want a t-shirt or sign or something that says that. "Well, your yaoi is GAY!"

Trig was normal. I was telling Trevor about the above conversation, and I think we started talking about it too loudly because we got some weird stares. "But isn't that what yaoi IS? Gay anime sex?" "Of course! That's what the humor in it is!"

In English, I worked on my English final and listened the music the whole time.

In Anime Club, we walked down to G-16, only to discover a sign on the door that said "NO ANIME TODAY". This was fine with me, though, because I had already arranged to have the meeting in E-1 or E-3. We migrated up to those classrooms and watched AMVs the whole time. Ricky yelled "Yaoi!" the whole time again.

After that, Mom picked me up and we brought Tia to her obedience lesson. Because Sandy forgot about it, I was the one working with Tia this time. It was a lot of fun, and Tia was being really good. :) She growled at a few puppies because they came too close (Tia is NOT good with dogs), but otherwise she was perfect. Again, the instructor used her as an example every time because she was being so good.

Dad picked me up after that, in the parking lot of the fairgrounds (we met there). From there, we went home and I started looking at Naruto fanart until it was time to head off for my Creative Writing thing at the library.

Well, I didn't win anything, but it was a fun experience nonetheless. :) I had a feeling I wasn't going to win, so I wasn't disappointed or anything. The story I submitted was a bit too...abstract...to actually win.

The guy who got first place wrote a humorous, fun story about a guy in driver's ed; second place was a girl I know (she's cool), and she wrote a great story about anti-discrimination, based off the metaphor of chocolate wrappers (don't ask--it was good); the third place was this drama queen (she was all dressed out and had a tipped hat and such--you could tell she was lovin' the attention) who wrote about a girl with AIDS. I thought first and second place totally deserved their awards...but third place's entry was oh-so-mundane and typical-high-schooler writing. >< There wasn't really anything that set it apart...I've read about a hundred stories like it. ._.;

After we went to that, I was feeling all fired up to write, but Dad decided to take us out to Lyon's for dinner. I had a strawberry milkshake and a belgian waffle smothered in blueberries. I barely ate half of the belgian waffles. ^^;; The writing thing got Dad interested in my writing, so I was telling him about some of the stories I've written. He was really impressed with the outlines of the plots.

We went home when we were done, and Ciera called. We're sorting out the hotel mess, and it doesn't appear it is going to be much of a problem any more. :D Wish us luck! My hotel room is all figured out, but theirs is only just falling into place now.

I go to the seamstress tomorrow after school. I'm so excited for my costume to get done!

...Time for bed. >.> Oyasumi, minna! Excuse any typos. I typed this FAST. ._.;

Is Schindler's List about genocide?

OMG, that's the best conversation EVER! XD "My yaoi is bi." =D If you wanted, I could make you a thing that you iron on a t-shirt, "Well, your yaoi is GAY!" It's just a like a piece of paper, so I could send it in the mail without suspicion. Oh, I'm not sure if I ever told you what happened with my mother and Gravi shirts... o_o;

That's too bad you didn't win...but I think I understand about abstract stories. XD Darn normal people. ^_~

There are a couple random things I have to tell you. XD
1. The closest thing to a Yoko Kanno and Yuki Kajiura joint project exists! The music for Tsubasa Chronicle is composed by Yuki Kajiura, but there is at least one (I think two) Maaya Sakamoto songs. We're one step closer. XD [You may have known this already...]
2. I don't know if you get the Right Stuf catalouge, but if not, there's something I must show you!

Schindler's List is about the Holocaust, and it basically shows all of it. Concentration camps and such. ;_;

I know, that conversation was great. XD Nicole and I are talking about making signs for Fanime that say that. It would be fitting, as we will be Noriko and Kumagorou. ^^ If you'd like to send me an iron-on, that would be great! I've been meaning to send you something, but I've been so busy I've barely been able to even write in my LJ... o_o

Normal people are...well, normal, and therefore boring.

Oh~ that's awesome about Yuki Kajiura/Yoko Kanno! I'm glad you told me, because I hadn't heard about this. ^_^

I get the Right Stuf catalogue! Is it the Kumagorou plushie you want to show me? Or is it something else? The catalogue is actually sitting by my bed right now. ^_^

Oh...well then, I really hope I don't have to watch it in World History next year...

Sure! Just tell which font/colour you'd like...it's just that light colours don't work so well on black t-shirts. I'll send you a sample image first (online).

Yes, Kumagoro. XP I love the guy's description of him! <3

I don't think you will have to watch it. It's rated a very strong R. I think it's illegal that my teacher is showing it to us, but it's a really, really good movie so no one really minds.

Oh, I don't really mind what color or font. I can pick a shirt to match regardless. :)

Oh, speaking of sending stuff, would you like me to burn and send you some Naruto on DVD? I could if you want. I'll have to see what else I can burn (most anime is too big for the DVD-Rs).

Sure, Naruto would be nice. ^^; Like you, I'm a bit hesitant to get into long series, but for me it's fear that I won't finish. If it costs you a lot, you don't have to send them, though. ^^;

It wouldn't cost me a lot to send them. Once it slows down here as far as business goes, I'll burn some for you. ^_^

Oh, I know about the long series thing. I can always send more, though. You'd just have to ask. ^_^ And it's really easy to find it to download, too. XD

If both of those failed and you were stuck on a terrible cliffhanger, you could always read the readily-available manga, which is basically the exact same thing as the show. XD

I can't say when I'm going to get to doing this, but I'll get to it eventually. ^^;; *Is busy writing a story/studying for Anatomy/doing chores/etc.*

Oh, and I'm going to check my other DVDs for burnability. This might be a while, though. I have at least 110+ anime DVDs by now. @_@
