Poor Claus...
May. 10th, 2005 08:53 pmWell, I'm going to try to keep this somewhat short again. I'm not sure if I can write tomorrow-- I have Anime Club, a dog training lesson with Tia, and that story honors thing. @_@ Thursday I have an appointment with my seamstress to get measurements for my Kumagorou costume, which is going well.
I feel really awful because, of the four doves I got, only Claus remains. Ayato escaped and showed up dead the next day, Quon was killed by an animal, and now that same animal broke into the chicken coop, into the bird cage, and killed Lavie, too. So poor Claus is all alone. ;_; I know it's not my fault and I did all I could for them, but I still feel terrible about it. ;_; It's really been getting me down... I'm always terribly affected by pet deaths. Mom and I are being super-careful with Claus... I moved his cage up on to the deck today, and Mom is keeping him in a cat carrier at night. We're only keeping him in the coop when I'm around.
Today was a nice day. :)
My day started with a WEIRD dream. It involved me starting a zoo under a big dome-cage thing. I, however, decided I didn't want to care for all the animals, so I freed them by pressing a button that opened the dome-cage thing. So I unleashed tigers, elephants, and other animals into the world without a second thought. Then there was something about Wendy and a trailer park, and not being allowed to go into her trailer because there was a present or something she was supposed to be hiding from us.
Then there was a scene where I was wading through a shallow swamp, and those weedy sea dragon-things (that Kingdra is based off of) were all around. They made a beeline for my feet and immediately latched themselves to my feet and ankles. The weird thing was, when they starting sucking on my feet and legs like leeches, they straightened out and looked somewhat like fish-straws. O_o; I started pulling them off, but they were suctioned on and it was really, really creepy. They felt like slippery, wriggling shoelaces. I felt bad, but I was really mad at the stupid weedy sea dragon-things, so I just left them on the shore to die. I have no idea why they were like leeches. o_o;
In Creative Writing, Ana, Yuri, Uiloq, and I argued about whether or not human babies are cute (myself on the latter side, of course), which dissolved into us cooing and "Awww"ing over baby animals while Rae rolled her eyes. XD This dissolved even further into us talking about what various animal noises are in different countries (myself representing US, Yuri representing Japan, Ana representing Venezuela, and Uiloq representing Greenland). I starting howling like a wolf partway through. I'm surprised we didn't scare anyone.
In USHistory, we watched Schindler's List. It really is quite depressing... I found myself thinking, as I watched it, that this should never happen again. I know it does, though, and it's so terrible. ;_;
In my TA period, I ran deliveries and Cody randomly showed up after the Chemistry 2 AP exam and we chatted for a little while. After he left to hang out in the middle room 'til lunch, Rory, Angela, and I were talking about nothing in particular. Rory was saying he wanted to go to Senior Ball, but didn't know who to ask as a date, so I suggested he go into a crowd of people at the school and yell "MARCO!" and ask out the first person who says back "POLO!" He's actually doing it, too. XD I don't know if it'll work, but it was funny anyway.
In lunch... Greg was showing me some Pokémon/Naruto/FMA stuff he got because his dad went to Japan. They were just posters and coloring books and such, but I still was jealous and wanted them. XD I also kept going on about how much SasuNaru fanart I saved and how guilty I was as a result. I was afraid Nicole was going to accuse me of being a stupid Naruto shounen-ai fangirl again, but instead she was like "YAY! Hotness!" So it's all fun and wonderful. :D
Trig was average. Trevor and I talked about anime, and Neil was talking about Naruto pictures he's doing for his art final.
In English, we took an Ender's Game test. It wasn't too bad, and I think I did well. Only a few funny questions, though. "How did the buggers communicate with one another? A. Radios, B. Telepathy, C. MTV, D. Snail Mail" "What did the buggers look like? A. Crickets, B. Wasps/Ants, C. Mr. Cartan, D. Peanut butter and marshmellow sandwiches" WTF? O_o;
After school, Mom and I went to Maryanne's house to check on Sara (her dog) and her horses and goat (Maryanne is in Hawaii). Sara was really happy to see us. It was cool seeing Madison (one of the horses) again, because the last time I saw her she was only a week old. ^^ She's turned out so gorgeous! We gave her and Trista (her mother) a ton of carrots. We tried to give the goat, Mini-Me (named because she's the same color as Madison) some carrots, but she didn't seem to want any.
I went by the seamstress today, and she got my fabric in! It's so soft... I can't wait 'til my costume is done.
Cody finished Eva today, so we been on the phone discussing that a lot.
Well, I have to go. Ja ne!
