*Phew*...

Today has been two sides of a coin--on one hand, it was fun, and on another, it was rather stressful. ._.

I woke up this morning and was, again, very tired. I think I woke up in a dream, but I have no memories whatsoever of the said dream.

Today was officially a weird schedule because of the testing, and I went to periods 3, 4, 6, and 7.

I listened to choir as usual, but had to leave for class a little earlier than usual because I had to get up to S-wing (as opposed to the usual E-wing). In Anatomy, we started out with a brief lecture and the handing out of worksheets, and went off to S206 to dissect the eyeball.

This dissection was fun, but it was disgusting. The cat was interesting, the brain was just fine, the eyeball was...eghhh. It was a sheep's eye. Between Erin, Melissa, Aubyn, and I, none of us wanted to do anything to the eyeball when we first got it, so we stuck Aubyn with the task of popping the eye and cutting it in half.

This was a lot harder than it sounds. x.x She tried at first with the scalpel, but the eyeball was stubborn and she eventually had to stab it with...a stabby-thing (an the fluid gushed everywhere) and cut the darn thing in half with scissors. It was really bizarre inside. There was see-through goopy stuff, a hard ball of tissue, black stuff, and a lot more. As we were digging through the eyeball's contents, we found a beautiful piece of tissue (forget what it was called...) that looked like the inside of an abalone shell, or an opal. It was so pretty. *_* We kept joking we were going to make a piece of jewelry out of it, but that wouldn't have worked because it was a piece of soft tissue. x.x

I got to clean it up again, and it was rather weird picking up pieces of an eyeball with tweezers and putting it in a plastic bag. The inside of an eye looked absolutely nothing like I pictured it.

After that, we went back to the lecture hall and started watching a video of an eye surgery. It was at this point that I started feeling...odd... My view got all shimmery and inverted like I was going to faint, so I tried to ignore it for a while, hoping it would be okay. It didn't go away after about ten minutes, so I told Erin, Melissa, and Aubyn, and Erin got me some water. I ate some trail mix, too, to see if it was from deprivation of food or water. Mr. Larsen told me to put my head on my knees, so I did, and that didn't seem to help. Eventually, it got a little better and I went outside with some of the class. The fresh air seemed to make it a lot better. I don't know what the issue was... It was just my sight that was affected, and otherwise I didn't feel sick or anything.

For my TA period, again there was nothing to do, so I went in the art room again with my friends.

When I showed up, I noticed something rather peculiar going on. There was a large, hanging, cage-like contraption in one part of the art room, surrounding a chocolate cake. Turns out it was the birthday of one of the guys in the class, and so one of his friends make him the cage-mechanism, and another made the cake. Using a bicycle wheel and all sorts of other gadgets, they rose the cage mechanism so the chocolate cake was exposed, and then they sliced it and everyone got a big piece (myself included). ^_^ I spent the rest of the period drawing an Umbreon and Eevee cruising on top of a car, the Eevee clad in sunglasses (no, I don't know *why* I was drawing this), and talking to bunches of my friends. Makayla randomly painted an apple blue. Zoe was showing me the Naruto spandex pictures, and we continued plotting to do Kakashi-pr0n for Roya. >D And we talked about anime the whole time, as always.

I spent lunch both in the art room and the middle room. During lunch, Rachel discovered a large spool of thread (we're talking about 3-4 feet in length), and a bunch of my friends were walking back and forth on top of it (as in, they were rolling on top of it with their feet). I tried to teach people how to play the Chicken Game, but I ended up just freaking everyone out and getting weird looks.

Standardized testing in Trig... Couldn't think as well as I could yesterday. ><

In English, we worked on our finals for the whole period. Mr. Cartan wasn't there, so we had a sub. I talked to a bunch of the people in my class about their projects, and at some point two of the guys in the class took to playing guitar and singing for the class. They were really good, and got lots of applause and cheering from everyone. o_o It was a really cool moment.

Dad picked me up after school and we went by the seamstress'. Unfortunately, my fabric hasn't come in yet, so I just dropped off some screenshots of Kumagorou. Dad and I drove around for a while, trying to kill time 'til we picked Ryan up.

After that, we were supposed to be dropped off at Mom's because she was supposed to be discharged from the hospital today, but no such luck. There's some sort of a minor complication and she has to stay tonight too. -_- However, Mom wanted me to go to her house to take care of the animals, so Dad dropped me off there while on the way to a concert he's going to in Sacramento with his friend Jim. I took care of the animals, fed the horses and chickens, let the dogs out, etc.

Unfortunately, Tia was being stupid and picked a major fight in the street with the neighbor's dogs, so she was against two dogs her size. Poor Lily didn't want them fighting, so she tried to join the brawl, but I called her off. It looked like a brutal fight, so I yelled at her a lot, but she turned out not to be hurt. >< She didn't come inside for about an hour, though.

My Mom's friend Maryanne came to the house to help me with the horses and take me back to Dad's, and she brought her sweet dog Sarah with her. Lily and Sarah get along just fine, but Maryanne accidentily let Tia out of the house and Tia got in ANOTHER fight. Two dog fights within one hour. >< Major stress. Neither dog was hurt again, though.

Also, there is a nice family from San Francisco staying on our property for the weekend, because our landlord auctioned off a weekend to stay in the place on top of the barn (which is on the other side of our property), and they won the auction. I met them and they seemed like great people. They brought their beautiful greyhound Echo with them, too. (I love greyhounds! ♥) I just have to be careful to keep Tia away from him.

So... Maryanne gave me a ride back to Dad's, where I'm staying until Mom gets out of the hospital.

I feel all stressed out and a little shaky. ._.;; I want to see if one of my friends can come over, because I'm a little lonely.

Ugh, disection. x_x I remember some pretty tissue from a squid, too, but I don't think it was from the eye. How big was the sheep eyeball?

Oh, I meant to ask you before...are you cosplaying as Kumagorou or Ryu'ichi in the Kuma suit?

*hugs* Feel better soon! *_*

The sheep eye was about...the size of...I dunno, a cherry tomato? Bigger than a human eye.

I'm actually cosplaying as Kumagorou. Cody's being Ryuichi, so I have no reason to be another Ryuichi. Plus, just plain Kumagorou gives me a little more freedom with the design.
