Today has been pretty uneventful.

I woke up and started watching Naruto with Ryan. Ryan wanted to have his friend over, so he wimped out after 104, but I watched to 109.

OMG...109...!!! ;_; WAHHHHHHHH. So beautiful... WAHHHH. I take back anything derogatory I said about SasukexSakura. Still don't know if it'd work on Sasuke's side, but... Mew, Sakura is devoted. ;_; She's really become an incredible character... I have so much respect for her now.

I spent the rest of the day scanning artwork that I'll probably post on Bulbagarden tomorrow. I have so much frickin' artwork that it's kind of frightening. Ooo, I could post some here, too, if anyone is interested. Just say the word!

I need to start my next Japanese course soon...

What does your next Japanese course focus on?

*Blinks* I honestly don't know. Probably more sentence structure, more complex things...That and katakana, which I've already known for about two or three years. ^^;; I'll find out when I start it. @_@

Katakana. XD That should be the first thing they teach, IMO, after pronounciation and hiragana. What did you learn first (in your class)? 'Kore wa watashi no hon wo arimasu' stuff?

Yeah, basically. Easy stuff.

Katakana was the first thing I learned, but that was a result of self-studies and Pokémon cards. ^^; I have a LOT of Japanese that I learned just from anime, too, in addition to the little bit I learned from my class. I think I learn more Japanese from anime then I do from the class (though the stuff from the class is more applicable in the real world... ^^;;;)

I think they split up the katakana and hiragana as to not overwhelm us with memorizing. *Snicker* I'm good at memorizing things, though.

Yeah, kata and hira were the first things I learned (other than stuff like "yume = dream!!1"). I had a hira chart that a friend of our family who taught English in Japan made and gave a copy to everyone in my girl scout troop. XD I think I was only nine at the time, so I didn't rediscover until I was twelve (almost thirteen). I memorized that right away, but it took me a little longer to learn little irregularities like xtsu and its usage. Then my friend Matta printed out a katakana chart for me, and I quickly learned that. XD I learned much of the kanji I know from studying Inu-yasha and Pocket Monsters op/ed sequences. Other kanji I picked up from anime and other songs. I don't even know how to write 100 characters yet, though. ^^; It's kinda sad that nearly all the Japanese I know I learned from songs, other than some gramatical and syntax stuff I got form anime. ^^;

[Wow, sorry for that long and random story. ><]

At least you know some kanji... -_-;

Thanks for sharing your story, actually. It's kind of fun to read how other people learn these things. XD

HEy! I told you (or was it Nicolo?) that Sakura became pretty good later on! Did I not? Well, maybe not you, but that's beside the point. H~anyway, You're watching Escaflowne? Do you have the whole series at your disposal? If not, I can loan you the rest, if so, be sure to tell me what you think later on!!

Kay. Peace out-

Um, I think you told me. I never really thought of her in a derogatory manner anyway, I just thought she was a little useless. ^^;; Now I respect her more in a character sense--she's grown emotionally and kind of holds the characters together. She's brave in a way that few of the other characters are--and when she was begging Sasuke not to go [to Orochimaru], I gained even more respect for her.

Of course, I know about how she is when she's sixteen, with Tsunade's training. ^^;; That's another matter entirely.

Well, Zoe has the rest of the series, so I will probably finish it with her, but if that doesn't work out I'd love to borrow it. :) I'll probably buy it later on, but I'm going to have to wait 'til after the big conventions for money reasons. I'll be sure to discuss with you when I get further--you're one of my favorite people to discuss with! ^_^ I still need to call you. Maybe tonight?

See you tomorrow!
