Happy Birthday, Shuichi!
Apr. 19th, 2005 08:59 pmYes, it is Shuichi's birthday. :D It is also, incidentally, my Grandma's birthday, but she's not a great deal like Shuichi. (It would be rather frightening if my grandma bore any resemblence, be it personality or looks-wise, to Shuichi. XD)
Today was tiring merely because it was Tuesday. Tuesdays are after you have survived the down-and-out exhaustion of Monday, but they're before the middle-point that is Wednesday. This makes them awkward, clunky, and downright plodding.
I was dreaming something-or-other about Naruto characters (I know Lee and Kisame were involved, I seem to remember scenes from Lee vs. Gaara, but other than that it's all very hazy), and I woke up at 5 AM and stared at the clock for a long time. I was too unconscious to comprehend what the numbers actually meant, so I was getting crazy ideas about having to wake up. Next I looked at the clock, it was 6 AM, and by then I convinced myself that I had "many hours" of sleep left, when in fact I had about 45 minutes.
I was befuddled, in case you couldn't tell.
On the way to school, Dad and I spotted a poor dead raccoon and Dad kept going on about how I should drag it around school and bring it to Anatomy class for dissecting. Jokingly, of course, but even in my grumpy state I couldn't help but find the image of me dragging around a dead raccoon around school with string around its neck a little amusing. Morbid, though. I felt bad for the 'coon, though--he looked rather pretty. ;_;
I listened the choir like usual (with KK and Rae there, too, in addition to Nicole and Makayla :) ), Cody showed me some new drawings of his, and...it was early. @_@
Mrs. McDaniel requested I read my story first, though I was a little grudging about it. I still don't say it's a well-written story in the slightest. The class seemed to like it, though, as far as I could tell. Rae and I spent the rest of the period writing notes back and forth. I confused her by writing "I'll bet she does it like a weasel!" and then tried to explain FLCL to her quickly. Anyone who has seen FLCL can imagine how well this went off, I imagine. XD
I can't even remember what happened in USHistory because it was so boring. ;_; I think we read in our textbooks and...that was about it. Oh, and we graded our tests. I got 18/20, which is no big deal as I ace all of Mr. Ostrom's tests whether I read the chapter or not. They're just that easy. Randi, Molly, and I complained about how much that class drags, which is true.
Right after I arrived in my Anatomy class for third period, someone pulled the fire alarm. It was still the passing period, so when the alarm started going off there were only five of us in class all in all (and Mr. Larsen hadn't arrived yet!), so Aubyn, Lisa, two other girls, and I went up to the parking lot and wandered around. I found Cody, Kristi, Ricky, and a few of my other friends and held conversations with them while we waited for the school to return to normalcy. Apparently, Ricky hasn't forgotten about his promise to do yaoi with Cody for us, as he brought it up without me even reminding him. XD He WILL do it for us! (And as far as doing shounen-ai goes, everyone already knows any rebellion Cody may have had in him is completely gone. XD)
In Anatomy, we were supposed to be working on worksheets but instead Erin and I took turns explaining deep parts of Resident Evil (I think it was Resident Evil, at least... I have trouble keeping the creepy video games straight, as I don't play them) and Naruto to each other. Animatedly and loudly, as usual. I'm beginning to think that the whole class listens to us and is confused.
TA period...fairly average. I didn't get to deliver anything. ;_; Rory was confusing some girls who were in the room adjacent to the Student Store working on posters to encourage the swim team. They were facing off with Granite Bay, so Rory suggested they make a sign that said "Rocks Sink". XD They took his suggestion, and made a big poster of that. After that, he was just babbling about weird ideas that had nothing to do with anything, and everyone was looking at him weirdly.
At lunch...er... I talked to people. I don't remember about what in particular, but it was anime. (Really?!)
As I was setting off with Nicole to G-wing for Trig, the fire alarm went off again. >< I wasn't far enough on my path to actually go to G-wing, but I lost Nicole and ended up finding Cody, Roya, Zoe, and Selah and following them to the football field. We spent all of that time talking about costumes. Cody was talking about the tight leather pants he has to find for his Ryuichi costume #2 (XD;;), Roya was talking about doing a Sakura costume (though I *swear* she's going to have to get a wig), and Zoe wants to do a Hinata costume. ♥ Selah still has to start her costume (I forget the character's name...but it's cow pajamas and it's someone from GetBackers). I promised to help them out if they need it, as I am kind of the crazy one whose entire life revolves around anime. XD I should take some screenshots for them one of these days, so they know what exactly they're doing...
I eventually made it to Trig, and of course I wasn't penalized in any way, shape, or form because I had reason to be late. Other people were later than I was.
I was exceedingly lazy in Trig and got little done. I also had no one to talk to about anime this time.
In English, we continued Ender's Game, which continues to be wonderful.
After school, in short, I whined about how tiring Tuesdays are to KK and Jenny and anyone else who was listening. XD
And then I went outside to wait for Mom, where the weather had changed very interesting. Where I was sitting waiting for Mom, it was raining a little, but it was sunny and about five feet away it wasn't raining. There were just these huge, puffy clouds traversing across the sky, freckling the ground with smatters of rain here and there.
Mom picked me up, and Ryan and I have spent the rest of the day watching Naruto/AMVs. Mom kicked us off at 8 PM to watch American Idol, though, so I went down to the chicken coop and put the doves in their cage. They were all sitting on top of their cage, so I think they know that's where they're supposed to go for bedtime. Awww. ♥
I think that's all that happened today. Ja ne! It's almost bedtime again. @_@
