Kekeke...I'm burning Naruto DVDs, and they're turning out wonderful. >D

Today was interesting and different. It was the Day of Silence, which is where a bunch of people wear stickers that say "No voice should go unheard--ask me why I'm silent", and, as it says on the sticker, they stay silent the whole day. It's to battle intolerance towards gay/lesbian/bisexual people, so it's a great cause. I would've volunteered to be silent, too, but I doubt I could shut up that long regardless. ^^;;

A lot of my friends volunteered, though, and so I had to communicate with those who did by way of writing things down.

Well...what else happened today?

Dad started driving me to school in his Jeep, but halfway there he randomly decided he wanted his van instead and so he turned back and switched cars. o_O; Oookay.

I listened to choir for a while as usual before school started, and then ran off to Creative Writing. Rae was participating in the Day of Silence, so I babbled to her and she wrote responses and laughed at me. I can't really remember what happened for the whole period...I think we were supposed to be working, so I just sat there aimlessly and... Like I said, I don't entirely remember.

In second period, we got a nice, different thing to do--we went to an abuse prevention assembly put on by a Senior as her Senior Project. Apparently, she was abused by her father, and in order to help herself transcend that, she wants to educate others about abuse prevention. She did a good job (I sat with Marina, Alyssa, and Kristi), although the microphone was going in and out, which was a little distracting. You could still hear her without the microphone, but it was still distracting. When she had a question-session, everyone kept asking really personal questions about her own story of abuse, and about half the time she had to answer that it was confidential.

Anyway...third period, we did the usual. Erin and I acted crazy and talked about anime (no, really?), and we colored in worksheets. I kept screwing up and finding creative ways to fix my mistakes. XD

I spent much of my TA period running notes from Link Leaders to their Freshmen, so I stopped by the choir while I was doing that and listened for a while. I was having fun delivering around the school, so I was running and leaping and acting idiotic. ^^;; What a genki weirdo I am.

Lunch was okay, albeit a bit unexciting. Erik had a burrito, so I ate about a third of it, and then Rosie, one of her friends, and I proceeded to kick the crap out of Cooper's shins when he said something minorly offensive about Day of Silence. I also ran around a lot declaring that there should have been an all-school screening of Gravitation in honor of Day of Silence. Erik said they should show Rocky Horror Picture Show, but I didn't agree and we argued about it lightly for a while. I scared Jenny by talking about how I speak chicken-language, and then we swapped chicken-stories. Nicole showed up late, and the rest of the lunch was spent...um...doing nothing. Cody had 4th lunch this whole week, which makes it a little lonely. -_-

Trig was fairly average. We spent more time doing homework than usual, and for some reason the homework was also a lot harder than usual. Not just for me--for everyone. Mr. Harter was bombarded with questions.

In English, Day of Silence sparked a great discussion on tolerance. It's so nice how mature everyone is in English 3 Honors (because it's an Honors class, I guess), and they all had great things to add to the discussion. We also read a poem called Death of a Hired Man (by Robert Frost), which was a nice poem, and then I read a little more Ender's Game.

After school was Anime Club, though barely anyone was there today because we forgot to put an announcement in the bulletin regarding it. We got a few new members, though, who seemed open-minded and cool. I was happy Kristi was there, otherwise I would've been the only girl. I named her vice-dictator. XD

None of us brought anime to watch (I completely forgot about Anime Club until 6th period), so we discussed instead for the whole almost-hour. I yelled a lot and got overly enthusiastic, as usual. ^^;; It was uneventful, really, but not bad.

Dad picked me up after that (he got home from work early today) and we picked up Ryan, went home, etc.

Cody came over at about 4:30 PM and was helping Ryan play the Zelda Wind Waker game/drawing/watching a few AMVs while we waited for Nicole to get there so we could finish Gravitation. Nicole finally came at 6:30 PM or so, and we all watched Gravi in a pile on my bed. It was fun, as watching Gravi is normally. Teh cuteness.

So...Cody and Nicole had to leave after Gravi because of Moms wanting them/homework, so I hugged Cody (he's going on a choir tour in Southern California for the next 4 days), said goodbye, and now here I am.

Alex-chan made the banner for Bulbapedia, and it looks great! ^_^

Well, I'm going to go. I actually need to start my Creative Writing project, and I have NO idea what I want to write about.

I love the banner! ^_^

Naruto DVDs are sooo nice to have... I actually have the first 122 episodes on DVD. Most of them I got on eBay (the person burned fansubs, but made no profit--what I paid for them barely covered the cost of the DVD-Rs and shipping), but now I'm relying on my own DVD burner for further episodes.

Except, of course, that it stopped working after I burned episodes 120-122. -_-; Now I have to figure out what's wrong with it...

Aiya, I would participate in teh Day of Silence in a heartbeat! I'm sure nothing like that would ever happen here, though. And if I just did it on my own, knowing how things are around here, I'd probably be murdered or something. XD It's great that your friends and the other kids did that.

OOC, what are Link Leaders?

Ugh, this is random, but I miss you! *hugs*

Yeah, Day of Silence is great. ^_^

Link Leaders are Juniors and Seniors who help make the incoming Freshmen get adjusted to the school. They write them notes and send them candy, and generally try to get them involved in school and keep them out of trouble.

I've been a bad girl and didn't write yesterday or the day before. ^^;;
