Today was a refreshing change of pace.
Guess what. Remember how I said, "Oh, they're saying it's going to rain but I bet it won't?"
Well, I woke up this morning and it was pouring.
I grabbed my umbrella, watched AMVs for a while, and sat in the car while waiting for Mom to wake up. She did, and I went to school as usual. The car ride was very quiet again, because my CDs are still at Dad's. ><
Before school...I don't remember what happened.
In Creative Writing...I don't remember what happened there either. I believe pet ukes were involved. And probably shounen-ai. This is what Rae and I discuss most of the time.
In USHistory, we watched a movie about African-Americans in the 1930's. It would have been interesting I think except that the speaker on Mr. Ostrom's TV are really crappy and you could barely hear what anyone was saying. >< Thus I decided I was tired and almost fell asleep.
In Anatomy... I had forgotten, but we got to dissect sheep brains! It was so cool. We cut our brain up into a bunch of different pieces and examined it. We found almost everything on the checklist. The coolest part was seeing the Arbor Vitae--it's a part of the brain that looks like tree branches. It means 'Vital Tree' or something, and that's because it controls breathing and heartbeats and such. When we cleaned it up, I was the one who had to pick up all the pieces of brain and put them back in the bag. >< Eeewww. Kind of creepy.
My TA period was pretty uneventful other than sneaking into the choir room while delivering things. Other than that, Rory and I just joked about weird things and other boringness.
Lunch was great fun. One of the random guys who I don't really know came in and was like, "You're going to hate me."
Me: "Why?" O_o;
Random Guy: *Flashes both volumes of the FLCL manga*
Me: "Awesome! Why would I hate you for that?"
Random Guy: "I heard you hated FLCL."
Me: "WTF?! I LOVE FLCL! It's one of my favorite anime." ><
Random Guy: "Oh... Nevermind."
Me: "Who told you that, anyway?"
Random Guy: "I don't remember. You're famous, you know. EVERYONE knows who you are."
Me: "They do?"
Random Guy: "Yeah! Because you're the ultimate anime fan. People think you're awesome."
Okay...so I'm famous, apparently. I've actually heard that from several people now. O_o;;
Cody and I got in an interesting finger fight...thing. He was holding out his hand, so I poked it and he grabbed my finger and didn't let go for a while, so I returned the favor. Not sure why this is important or relevant at all, but I thoughy I should share it with you.
Selah and I had a startle-glomp war, too. Selah was in the Middle Room, completely unsuspecting, so I glomped her and totally startled her (she jumped). Later on, I was walking, equally unsuspecting, and she startled me with a glomp, too. It was funny. XD
During math, it turns out Mr. Harter gave the whole class the wrong assignment yesterday, so now I have two assignments tonight. ._.;
English...uneventful. Continued reading Ender's Game, which is really good.
After school, it was funny because me and lots of my friends were in the middle room basically yelling random things. Within the space of about one minute, my conversation with Kirstin went from the sheep brains, to lizard men and Egypt, to John's hat, to how everything is a conspiracy.

SQUEEE! I WANT ITTTTTT! *Huggles it* I <3 Claus. ;_; I'm going to see if Dad'll let me buy it. I don't think I can live without it.
Oh, and I got Wolf's Rain Vol. 6 today. :P My list of "DVDs I MUST HAVE!" is getting much smaller. This is a good sign. Only one more volume of Wolf's Rain, and I'll have all the current 26-episode shows I'm obsessed with covered (Well...Wolf's Rain is 30 episodes. But you know what I mean). I still have to find the rest of Paranoia Agent for a decent price. ._. And I really need to get Pokémon: Adventures in the Orange Islands 3 and the last Master Quest box set. I have more DVDs on the list, but most of them can wait.
I have $300 saved up so far for Fanime and Anime Expo. It's not a bad start--especially if my Grandma gives me money for her birthday again (yes, HER birthday) and definitely if I win anything in that writing contest I entered. I'm not betting on that, but it would be completely awesome.
I have to do that logo for Bulbapedia (a Bulbasaur reading an encyclopedia) and I have homework, too, so I'd better be off.
