But I'm feeling the urge to write in this. So sue me.
Hmmm, what happened today? It's been beautiful Spring weather today, so I spent a while outside with the dogs. It's supposedly going to rain tonight, but I don't believe it. It sure doesn't seem like it's going to rain now.
I woke up and was very lonely because my CDs are at Dad's. -_- I had nothing to listen to in the car except the radio, and I don't like the radio. My Mom had Wind stuck in her head on the way to school, which amused me. She was like, "Oh, Kristin, I have that one Naruto song stuck in my head."
Me: "Which one?"
Mom: *Hums bits of it, sings parts of it*
Me: "Oh, that's Wind!"
Mom: "Is that what it's called?"
Me: "Yep!"
Then I proceeded the whistle the whole thing. Mom kept complimenting me on my whistling. ^^;;
Before school-- wait a sec--
Sorry, my dog just got stuck IN my computer chair. XD;; I got her out, though.
That reminds me of the time I was watching a really dramatic part of Naruto (when Gaara totally beats Lee up) and Lily got her dew claw stuck in my shoe for about ten minutes and I had to disentangle her without laughing because I didn't want to break the solemn mood.
Anyway, both Kathryn and Cody's hair looked hilarious this morning. Kathryn's was just...in every direction, and Cody's was sticking up a little at the top (it actually looked a lot like the sticking-up hair on my Eevee morph uke :O). I can't remember what we talked about.
During Creative Writing, we did a bunch more association-type assignments. Mrs. McDaniel decided to have Rae and I share some of ours, and it disturbed the whole class some of the things we said. ^^;; The assignment was she would give us a series of words "Love is..." "Sadness is..." etc, and we would have to write five lines finishing that sentence.
Here are a few of my more...interesting...ones:
- Loneliness is places that aren't anime conventions
- Loneliness is being Kiba or The Salula
- Wonder is being a chicken and eating the earrings out of little girls' ears (there's a story behind that XD)
- Wonder is all the fish in Hawaii
- Winter is wearing shorts in the snow
- Winter is having to dry the dogs off every time they come inside
- Winter is stabbing people with icicles
- War is biting people you don't like
- War is all-out nuclear holocaust full of death and pain and destruction and... [continues]
- War is the glomping game at the end of Anime Expo (Selah started that whole thing ^^;;)
- War is John getting glitter in his hair
- Peace is being a bird
- Beauty is anything created by the animation studio BONES
- Beauty is something shiny and exciting
- Sadness is getting melted marshmellow on the bottom of your shoe
- Sadness is missing an anime convention (or not having a costume)
- Spring is me yelling "FWEE~!" and running with abandon through a field
- Kindness is teaching your shy friend how to glomp
- Anger is a bristling cat making a noise in its throat and hissing
- Anger is not being able to find the latest episode of Pokémon/Naruto
- Fear is facing the Mangekyou Sharingan
- Wisdom is understanding FLCL
...You get the idea.
US History...we worked in the book and it was boring. ><
During Anatomy, we watched an awesome movie about brain chemistry and how it affects us. Too bad Erin missed it... There was an artist on there encouraging everyone to do LSD. O_o; And there were some Japanese people who meditated for a whole bunch of days at 0 degrees in the mountains. One of them claimed to have seen an apparition of "a man from the past with a sword wound on his cheek", so I automatically flipped and went "KENSHINNNN!"
TA Period was uneventful other than finding another girl with a Naruto headband. I started babbling incoherently out of excitement, and when I asked her how much she had seen/read, she said she has read one volume. ^^; The headband was actually her boyfriend's, but she likes Naruto, too. I think I scared her slightly with my fangirlish ramblings.
During lunch...there was much chaos. Lots and lots and lots of hugs, and...I don't even know. It was chaos.
Trig was just fine.
English was cool...we just started Ender's Game (we're reading it in class to minimize homework). I've heard great things about it, and I already like it after three chapters. ^_^
After school...we had an interesting conversation that sounded really wrong but was actually kind of mature. It started out as our opinions on abortions, and ended up being a really weird debate about...I don't know how to put it. Kind of whether or not sex was consciously controlled. Of course, it is, but Kirstin was trying to argue that "accidents happen" and Nicole and I wouldn't have any of it. I guess if you had no self-control whatsoever... ><
Then I went home and, using cheese as rewards, was training Lily and Tia for at least an hour in the field by the chicken coop. I had them going over jumps I made out of wood, and I was playing games of Hide-and-Go-Seek with Lily (she's really good at 'sit' and 'stay', so I'd have her stay in one place and I'd go hide and call her). Once I had her sit in the sauna on the second step while I hid. XD Tia could barely get 'sit' down because she's not that well-trained, so I found other reasons to give her treats. It's amazing how good Lily is with commands--she hasn't been to an obedience class since she was probably one and a half (she's now going on ten, but acts about three) and she still knows everything we taught her. She's so smart.
After that I...did homework and had fun reading Hitchi's LiveJournal. I still have homework, but I'll do it before bed. ^^;; I need dinner (we *might* be going out to dinner) and I want to watch some AMVs.
Ja ne!
